    Abstract: An end plate for a motor with a motor casing. The end plate includes a body adapted to be coupled to the motor casing and cover an opening of the motor casing. The body defines a ribbed structure to shield a power terminal assembly disposed laterally outwardly with respect to the motor casing. The ribbed structure includes a first rib and a second rib spaced apart from the first rib, and the power terminal assembly is adapted to be coupled to and be captured in between the first rib and the second rib.

    Abstract: A cooling assembly for an electric machine is disclosed. The cooling assembly may include a generally cylindrical cooling jacket for receiving a shaft, a rotor and a stator. Further, the cooling jacket jacket may be disposed in an electric machine housing. Additionally, the cooling assembly may include at least two first passages in the cooling jacket for circulating a first coolant and at least one second passage in the cooling jacket for circulating a second coolant, the second passage being disposed between the at least two first passages. Further, the cooling assembly may include a third passage on an exterior of the machine housing, the third passage extending through the housing to fluidly connect the at least two first passages and bypass the second passage.

The upper adapter assembly further including an inner top adapter having a plurality of notches radially along the outer diameter of the inner top adapter, an inner collar having a plurality of radially inwardly extending tabs at top and bottom ends of the inner collar, a ring shaped holding plate having a series of bolt holes, an outer top adapter in communication with the holding plate, having a notched outwardly extending flange lip, and an outer collar having an outwardly extending lip at a top end and a sidewall extending perpendicularly downward.
