The crimping segment has a first surface adapted for arranging a wire thereon along a longitudinal axis and a second surface opposite the first surface. The first side wall has a first serration on the second surface. The second side wall has a pair of second serrations on the second surface. The first serration is displaced from the second serrations along the longitudinal axis and, in a crimped state, a portion of the first serration is positioned between a pair of portions of the second serrations along the longitudinal axis.

Abstract: An electrically conductive contact element for an electrical connector comprises a body and a layer of electrically conductive material provided on the body. The body includes a first face having at least one depression forming a reservoir defined therein. The layer of electrically conductive material is provided on the first face of the body and fills the at least one depression. The layer defines a contact surface adapted to be brought into contact with a surface of a connecting part of a mating electrical connector mated with the electrical connector. The contact surface is formed by a surface of the layer of electrically conductive material facing away from the body.

Abstract: An electrical connector configured to be mated with an electrical counter-connector, the electrical connector comprising a housing member, an electrical terminal housed in a corresponding terminal cavity of the housing member, and an anti-vibration element. The electrical connector is characterized in that the housing member further comprises a traversing groove traversing the housing member from an external housing member surface to an internal housing member surface that defines the corresponding terminal cavity, and the anti-vibration element is arranged in the traversing groove.
