  • Patent number: 11383688
Abstract: A motor vehicle brake system includes at least four hydraulically actuatable wheel brakes, a main pressure medium reservoir, at atmospheric pressure, a first electrohydraulic brake control device, which, for each of the four wheel brakes, includes a wheel-specific outlet, and a second electrohydraulic brake control device, which, for each of the four wheel brakes, includes a wheel-specific inlet, connected to the wheel-specific outlet of the first brake control device, a wheel-specific wheel outlet, connected to the wheel brake, and a hydraulic wheel connecting line, connecting the inlet to the wheel outlet. The second brake control device includes a first pump with a first pressure side and first suction side. The first pressure side connected to a first and second wheel connecting line, and a second pump with a second pressure side and second suction side. The second pressure side connected to the third and the fourth wheel connecting line.

  • Publication number: 20220135014
Abstract: A hydraulic unit for a slip-controlled brake system, the simulator receiving hole of which is aligned transversely to a master cylinder hole in a receiving body of the hydraulic unit, thus enabling a section of the simulator to be received in a cap of a control unit.

  • Publication number: 20210300314
Abstract: To check the functionality/leak-tightness of a brake-by-wire brake system, a motor-operated brake pressure transducer is actuated. In this case, a pressure medium would flow out into a reservoir via a master brake cylinder. A diagnostic valve is therefore provided between the master brake cylinder and the reservoir, which diagnostic valve is composed of a check valve and a restrictor connected in parallel with respect to the check valve. The outflow of pressure medium is limited by the restrictor. Because the gradient of the pressure dissipation can be calculated, a measured pressure build-up can be compared with that which is to be expected, and a determination of functionality/leak-tightness can be derived from the comparison.

  • Publication number: 20210253077
Abstract: A hydraulic control housing of modular construction consists of a first block, in which a compression chamber is formed, and a second block, which has a port to a reservoir. The compression chamber is connected to the reservoir via a duct extending through the control housing. A check valve is arranged in that duct section of the duct which extends through the first block.

  • Publication number: 20210139004
Abstract: A brake cylinder arrangement has a brake cylinder, a pressure sensor, and a pressure reducer, wherein the pressure reducer transfers pressures from the brake cylinder to the pressure sensor differently, depending on the input pressure range. The invention furthermore relates to a braking system having a brake cylinder arrangement of this kind.

  • Publication number: 20200139949
Abstract: Braking system for motor vehicles, with a primary brake control unit comprising at least one electrically actuable wheel valve for each wheel brake, for the purposes of setting wheel-specific brake pressures; a pressure medium storage tank which is at atmospheric pressure; and an electrically controllable pressure provision device for actuating the wheel brakes with a hydraulic pressure chamber, wherein the respective wheel brake is connected or can be connected hydraulically to the pressure chamber; wherein the braking system comprises a simulation unit with a simulator which can be actuated with the aid of a brake pedal, and an auxiliary module, wherein the auxiliary module comprises a hydraulic unit with an, in particular, electrically controllable, pressure provision device for active pressure build-up in at least two of the wheel brakes, and wherein the simulation unit is designed as a separate module.
