  • Patent number: 11461028
Abstract: Generally, a computing system includes processing circuitry, such as one or more processors or other suitable components, and memory devices, such as chips or integrated circuits. The memory devices may be associated with thermal limits. Saving data in such a way that causes a thermal limit of the memory device to be exceeded may cause loss of stored data and/or device over-heating. As discussed herein, a memory controller associated with the processing circuitry may determine whether a thermal limit is expected to be exceeded for a current memory writing operation. When the thermal limit is expected to be exceeded, the memory controller may respond by modifying the memory operation in such a manner that the thermal limit is not exceeded, thereby improving operation of at least the memory device and/or memory controller.

Date of Patent: October 4, 2022
    Assignee: Micron Technology, Inc.
Inventors: Reshmi Basu, William Leins Stube, II, Anthony Joseph Dupont, Michael Richard Ives

  • Publication number: 20140372220
Abstract: A list of offers that match search criteria provided by a searcher is retrieved and a list of social media site contacts that are linked to the searcher on a social media site is requested. For each offer in the list of offers, a quantity of qualified selections of the offer is determined. The quantity of qualified selections for an offer comprises a quantity of users in the list of social media site contacts who are registered users of an offer selection application and who selected the offer using the offer selection application. The list of offers is ordered based on the quantities of qualified selections to produce an ordered list of offers and a user interface is provided that displays the ordered list of offers.

  • Patent number: 4598919
Abstract: A trolley for moving textile pieces between workstations comprises a clamp with two parallel branches. One branch can be maneuvered by means of a perpendicular arm associated with another ratchet. The other is fixed and coaxial with a disk associated with a ratchet whereby its orientation may be varied. The clamp is mounted on a crossmember of a movable member of a vertical jack. The jack is disposed between two tubular columns which guide the crossmember and one of which has at its upper end a quick-release connector. This is used to connect the jack to a compressed air supply.
