Abstract: A data picker system configured to allow a user to select data from a data site for submission to a data repository comprises an interface unit configured to provide a user with an interface for the user to input location information of a data site, a parsing unit configured to parse data in the data site and extract a data set from the data site, a selection mechanism configured to permit the user to select at least a portion of the extracted data set, and a processing unit configured to process at least a portion of the extracted data set selected by the user.

Abstract: A request to import web content that is packaged within a module manifest into a web page is received. In response to receiving the request to import the web content into the web page, the module manifest is accessed. A view container that includes the web content is identified within the accessed module manifest. The view container is a standard XHTML structural element that has a class attribute that designates the standard XHTML structural element as the view container. The web content is extracted from the view container and embedded in the web page.

Abstract: N-grams (i.e., N character sequences) are used to identify documents that potentially satisfy a search query. The documents that potentially satisfy the query are then searched (e.g., using a full text search) to determine which documents actually satisfy the query.
