    Abstract: A multi-sheet glazing unit has a pair of outer sheets spaced from one another and secured to a spacer frame. The spacer frame has a generally U-shaped cross section and raised portions on its base to define a recess. Peripheral and marginal edge portions of an intermediate sheet are positioned in the recess and held in position by the recess spaced from the outer sheets. A method of forming the unit is also disclosed.
