    Abstract: A topper for use with a bedding or seating product, such as a mattress, comprises a casing surrounding a pocketed spring assembly and at least one cushioning layer. The topper has a skirt which may fit around the mattress. The skirt may have a drawstring or an elastic band which helps keep the removable topper on top of the bedding or seating product. The height of the springs in the pocketed spring assembly is typically less than the height of the bedding or seating product.
