  • Publication number: 20120284898
Abstract: A garment having a pouch formed between an inner layer and an outer layer, which are bound to each other at each shoulder, at about mid-torso and at the sides. The outer layer of the pouch has an opening at its top in its middle where a neckline extends to about one-quarter to about one-half of the way down the pouch. The garment has supports bound to the inner or outer layer or both layers at the shoulders, and which supports go over the shoulders and down the person to about mid-torso, where the supports are bound to the inner or outer layer or both layers at about the mid-torso, but preferably not under the arms. The garment can be worn independently, worn over other items of clothing, or worn in combination with another apparel which is worn over the garment.

  • Patent number: 8270130
Abstract: An electrical monitoring device for monitoring an electrically powered device is provided. The monitoring device includes a frame for placement onto a conductor of the electrically powered device. A sensor is present for detecting the amount of current passing through the conductor. Also, a display may be provided for indicating to the user parameters of the electrically powered device that are indicative of the current passing through the conductor.

  • Publication number: 20120192330
Abstract: The invention comprises a thin flexible plastic sheet shaped to cover a users eyes and the user's face adjacent to the eyes. Left and right protrusions or recesses formed in the plastic sheet correspond in shape to respective eye sockets of the user. An adhesive portion placed on the interior surface of the plastic sheet attaches the mask to the user's face so that light reaching the eyes of the user is at least limited and can be excluded. The recessed embodiment is used during and after medical treatment of the eye or eyes.

  • Patent number: 7874264
Abstract: The present invention is a disposable wild bird feeder with the features that make it safe and easy to use but protected from being reused. A transparent reservoir containing bird seed is connected with a feeding base. The feeding base is threaded to an adaptor portion of the reservoir. A locking means between the internal threads of the adaptor portion and the external threads of the feeding base discourages the assembled wild bird feeder from being taken apart and refilled. The wild bird feeder converts from a first storage and shipping configuration to a second feeding configuration by partially unthreading the feeding base from the adaptor so bird seed is supplied to the bottom portion of the feeding base. A plurality of perches are supported by the feeding base. The perches are moved from a stored position to approximately a horizontal deployed position when the second feeding configuration is realized.

  • Publication number: 20100192866
Abstract: The hummingbird feeder of this invention has an initial storage and shipping configuration and a final feeding configuration. In a first embodiment, a transparent fluid reservoir contains a feeding solution that is dispensed through a punctured thin diaphragm into a cap cavity of a bottom cap threaded on the reservoir. In a second embodiment a removable sealer cap initially keeps the feeding solution in the reservoir. In a third embodiment, the feeding solution is dispensed by removing a “peel-away” diaphragm from the reservoir. Each feeding assembly has a red feeding guide and a feeding tube with an aperture for the hummingbird to access the feeding solution. Perches supported by the bottom cap are provided for the hummingbirds to rest. The feeding solution is made aseptic and bacteria free to help keep it from spoiling. The top of the fluid reservoir has a moat filled with an insect inhibiting material to protect against insects and ants reaching the feeding solution.

  • Publication number: 20090188434
Abstract: The present invention combines a classical hummingbird feeder with the disposable features that make it safe and easy to use. A transparent cylindrical fluid reservoir contains a feeding solution that is dispensed through a feeding tube assembly at the bottom of the reservoir. The feeding tube assembly is attached to a bottom disc that is supported and sealed at the bottom of the cylindrical fluid reservoir by a red bottom cap threaded to the reservoir. The red feeding tube assembly has an exit tube that can be adjusted to place an exit aperture in an optimum location for the hovering hummingbird. Single or multiple exit tubes can be provided. The feeding solution has an additive to determine when it has spoiled. The top of the fluid reservoir has a moat filled with an insect inhibiting fluid to protect against insects and ants. A red label is placed on the reservoir to provide logo, directions for use and safety warnings thereon.

Abstract: The present invention is a wild bird feeder with the features that make it safe and easy to use but protected from being reused. A reservoir containing bird seed is connected with a feeding base using an adaptor. The feeding base is threaded to the adaptor which in turn is threaded to the reservoir. A stop attached to the feeding base and a locking adaptor seat keeps the assembled wild bird feeder from being taken apart and refilled. The wild bird feeder converts from a first storage position to a second feeding position by partially unthreading the feeding base from the adaptor so bird seed is supplied to the bottom portion of the feeding base. A plurality of perches are supported by the feeding base. The perches are moved from a stored position to a properly deployed position when second feeding position is realized. A label is placed on the reservoir to provide a logo, directions for use and bird seed data.

  • Publication number: 20090158494
Abstract: A garment for use as a pet carrier has a pouch located on the upper half of the garment. The pouch is formed between an inner layer and an outer layer which are attached to each other at or near each shoulder, at about mid-torso and at points on the side. The pouch has an opening at its top where means to open and close the pouch are located and which extend downward from the top. The garment has supports attached to the inner or outer layer near or at the shoulders, and which go over the shoulders and down the front or the back of the person to at least mid-torso, where the supports are attached to the inner or outer layer at the sides.
