Abstract: The present invention is directed to a gypsum panel and a method of making such gypsum panel. For instance, in one embodiment, the gypsum panel comprises a gypsum core and a first facing material and a second facing material sandwiching the gypsum core, wherein the gypsum core includes gypsum and one or more components of a reclaim gypsum panel, such as reclaimed gypsum and reclaimed facing material. The methods of the present invention are directed to making the aforementioned gypsum panels by providing the first facing material, providing a gypsum slurry comprising gypsum, water, and one or more components of a reclaim gypsum panel, such as reclaimed gypsum and reclaimed facing material, onto the first facing material, and providing a second facing material on the gypsum slurry.

Abstract: A plasma source may include a plasma chamber, where the plasma chamber has a first side, defining a first plane and an extraction assembly, disposed adjacent to the side of the plasma chamber, where the extraction assembly includes at least two electrodes. A first electrode may be disposed immediately adjacent the side of the plasma chamber, wherein a second electrode defines a vertical displacement from the first electrode along a first direction, perpendicular to the first plane, wherein the first electrode comprises a first aperture, and the second electrode comprises a second aperture. The first aperture may define a lateral displacement from the second aperture along a second direction, parallel to the first plane, wherein the vertical displacement and the lateral displacement define a non-zero angle of inclination with respect to a perpendicular to the first plane.

Abstract: Systems and techniques for determining a sideslip vector for a vehicle that may have a direction that is different from that of a heading vector for the vehicle. The sideslip vector in a current vehicle state and sideslip vectors in predicted vehicles states may be used to determine paths for a vehicle through an environment and trajectories for controlling the vehicle through the environment. The sideslip vector may be based on a vehicle position that is the center point of the wheelbase of the vehicle and may include lateral velocity, facilitating the control of four-wheel steered vehicle while maintaining the ability to control two-wheel steered vehicles.

Abstract: Four-wheel steering of a vehicle, e.g., in which leading wheels and trailing wheels are steered independently of each other, can provide improved maneuverability and stability. Steering angle constraints may be used to limit or prevent saturation of steering by only one set of wheels as well as to reduce sideslip. The steering angle constraints are vehicle independent and applicable across a fleet of different vehicles based on vehicle speed. For instance, the steering angle constraints establish angle limits that dynamically adjust based on vehicle speed to ensure vehicle velocity and acceleration remain within predefined limits as established by autonomous vehicle system design.

Abstract: A door of a vehicle, such as a side-by-side utility vehicle, opens vertically about a door pivot. Opening of the door is facilitated by an actuator that secures to the door behind the door pivot. The actuator may also secure to a door frame behind the door pivot. The door may have a range of motion such that at least a portion of the door is positioned forward of the door pivot when opened. The actuator may be a gas spring that may include damping. The actuator may be mounted between panels of the door and may extend through a slot defined by the door to secure to the door frame.

Abstract: The method of the present invention for making a BNNT fabric comprises dispersing Boron-Nitride nanotubes at loading greater than 5 weight % in an electrospinning delivery solution; electrospinning the delivery solution onto a collector thereby forming a mat comprised of BNNT-PAN nano fibers; and, finally removing any electrospinning delivery solution from the mat leaving a fabric of intertwined Boron-Nitride nanotubes.

The plenum is defined by a volume between the fill media and the outlet. The UV light emitter is disposed in the plenum and configured to inactivate or kill organisms in a drift.

Abstract: Methods and compositions are provided for massively parallel base editing in the genome of an organism, such as a plant. Multiple loci are selected based on one or more specific criteria, such as evolutionary conservation, recombination frequency, nonsense mutations, and/or missense mutations. Predictive models for deleterious alleles and biologically-informed phenotype prediction may be developed and refined based on the editing results, and improved plant lines for commercial or breeding purposes may be obtained.

Abstract: A method and system for creating a point cloud are disclosed. A first image is captured by a first camera sensor and a second image is captured by a second camera sensor. The first and the second image have an area of overlap. Location of the first camera relative to the second camera is predetermined and each of the first and the second camera is having a field of view of more than 180 degrees. Based on the area of overlap, the first and the second image are stitched to create a composite stitched image. In one aspect, depth information from the area of overlap is extracted based on the predetermined location and a point cloud is created from otherwise to be discarded image data in the area of overlap.
