Abstract: A system for enhancing sterility. The system includes a first surgical glove comprising an upper glove portion and a lower glove portion. A surgical garment comprising at least one surgical garment cuff, and a sealing device comprising a first adhesive. The first adhesive of the sealing device is configured to be affixed between an inside surface of the lower portion of the first surgical glove and an outside surface of the at least one surgical garment cuff so as to provide a fluid seal between the first surgical glove and the at least one surgical garment cuff of the surgical garment.

Abstract: Computer-readable media, methods, and systems are disclosed for assisting users in gaining and granting authorization roles by automating some or all of the processes. A method can include creating an authorization request for a first user, retrieving contextual information from a repository, generating suggested authorization roles for the first user based on the contextual information using a peer-based machine learning recommendation system, presenting the suggested authorization roles to the first user in a user interface, selecting at least one authorization role, and submitting the authorization request to an access management system to provide the first user with targeted access to at least one requested system.

Depth of discounting may be related to an extent of the customer's financial relationship with the institution. Assessing the extent may include evaluation of the customer's institutional financial holdings. The methods and apparatus support offering a depth of discounting related to a future extent of the customer's institutional relationship.

Abstract: A latch for releasably securing the trunk lid of a vehicle which may be actuated by a person inside the trunk in emergency situations. The device includes a latch assembly operable by both a conventional exterior lock assembly and a release assembly positioned within the trunk compartment. The release assembly utilizes a flexible cable coupled to a detent lever within the latch in which the cable may be pulled by a person inside the trunk to open the trunk lid. Alternatively or additionally, the release assembly may utilize a spring loaded button which engages the detent lever to release the lid upon actuation. An alternate embodiment of the present invention includes a luminescent coating on the release assembly.

Abstract: A liquid level gauge for a tank, especially a pressurized railway tank car, has a housing with a bottom opening mounted at a top opening of the tank. A horizontal shaft is rotatably mounted in the housing between opposed walls having parallel flat vertical inner surfaces. A sprocket is fixedly mounted on the central part of the shaft, on each end of which is fixedly mounted a ring magnet spaced from one of these walls. Complementary ring magnets are rotatably mounted outside but adjacent these opposed walls. The four ring magnets constitute a pair of magnetic drives. A track and cable guide assembly, supported in the tank, extends from the bottom portion of the tank. A perforated tape is trained over the sprocket on the shaft and another sprocket rotatably mounted in the bottom portion of the tank so that the tape is under tension. A probe assembly connected to the tape moves vertically when the sprocket in the housing is rotated.
