  • Publication number: 20240109564
Abstract: A method is provided that can include activating at least two wireless communication channels in parallel, between a first wireless transceiver and a second wireless transceiver. Each of the at least two wireless communication channels can operate at a different radio carrier frequency, and the first wireless transceiver may be part of a first vehicle. The method can also include transmitting, by the first wireless transceiver, common information in parallel on the at least two wireless communication channels to the second wireless transceiver and deactivating the at least two wireless communication channels.

  • Patent number: 10699157
Abstract: An image comparison method constituted of: receiving images; point matching the images to identify tentatively corresponding points; responsive to the identified points, defining a plurality of first image tiles within the first image; defining a plurality of second image tiles within the second image, each corresponding to a respective first image tile; adjusting the intensity of a set of pixels responsive to the cumulative relative frequency of the respective pixel intensity within the respective tile; for each tile, applying a plurality of non-linear functions; for each function, separately determining a moment of the outcome of the respective non-linear function for each axis of the respective tile; for each first image tile and corresponding second image tile, determining a distance between the subspaces spanned by moment vectors; and responsive to determined distances, determining whether respective first and second image tiles comprise observations of the same portion.

  • Patent number: 10206500
Abstract: A workstation services support structure including a beam supported at or near desk height on one or more legs is described. The beam includes one or more elongate mounting means extending substantially along its length. Each elongate mounting means corresponds to a zone (Zones 1 to 4) in which one or more accessories to support a workstation service can be movably mounted with respect of the beam to enable service delivery at a user selectable position within the zone. The support structure includes a plurality of zones (Zones 1 to 4) that can be defined to be non-overlapping such that an accessory mounted within one zone does not interfere with an accessory mounted within another zone. Legs, accessories and couplings and systems incorporating such elements are also described.

  • Patent number: 9271568
Abstract: A workstation services support structure (5) including a beam (14) supported at or near desk height on one or more legs (16) is described. The beam (14) includes one or more elongate mounting means (28, 34, 36) extending substantially along its length. Each elongate mounting means (28, 34, 36) corresponds to a zone (Zones 1 to 4) in which one or more accessories (40, 42, 44, 46) to support a workstation service can be movably mounted with respect of the beam to enable service delivery at a user selectable position within the zone. The support structure (5) includes a plurality of zones (Zones 1 to 4) that can be defined to be non-overlapping such that an accessory (40, 42, 44, 46) mounted within one zone does not interfere with an accessory mounted (40, 42, 44, 46) within another zone. Legs (1200), accessories (40, 42, 44, 46) and couplings (390) and systems (1) incorporating such elements are also described.

  • Publication number: 20050105804
Abstract: In object registration and recognition based on a set of known templates, the tremendous set of possible transformations that may relate the template and an observed signature makes any detection and recognition problem ill-defined unless this variability is taken into account. The present invention estimates the deformation that transforms some pre-chosen representation of an object (template) into the current observation. The method employs a set of non-linear operators to replace a high dimensional problem by an equivalent linear problem, expressed in terms of the unknown parameters of the transformation model. The solution is applicable to any homeomorphic transformation regardless of its magnitude. In the special case where the transformation is affine the solution is shown to be exact.
