Also included are systems for sending the GPS location of the cell phone to both the emergency service responders and to the ICE contacts. An initial estimate of a building's energy needs for a specified time in the future (e.g., a month or a week ahead) are calculated, and then over time, in conjunction with an energy company, the initial estimate (and subsequent estimates) is revised based on the costs of the energy predicted or quoted by the energy company. These buildings have all contracted with an energy company which controls (directly or indirectly) the energy usage coordinator. By agreeing to lower energy usage during times of peak usage (when the energy company may otherwise have to pay very high prices on the spot or short term market), the owners or managers of the buildings receive a preferential energy rate from the energy company. Such a preferential rate may be in the form of a fixed rate reduction or a variable rate reduction. Alternatively, the energy company may determine that the energy is currently selling for twice what its building portfolio has contracted to pay for it so it requests some portion of the portfolio to reduce usage so that it can sell the excess/saved energy in the market.

An exemplary method comprises the steps of: (a) setting the first roll at a desired process speed with the first roll speed controller; (b) determining a target torque of the first roll; (c) contactingly engaging the first and second rolls; (d) determining an actual torque of the first roll; (e) comparing the target torque and the actual torque; and, (f) adjusting a speed of the second roll with the second roll speed controller to maintain the target torque of the first roll according to the comparison of the target torque and the actual torque.

Abstract: In accordance with one embodiment, an adjustable accessory mount mechanism uses two arms, a mount, and two attachment connections to the support structure. The arms are pivotably connected at the mount itself and at their attachments to the support structure. This arrangement produces an adjustable triangulated mechanism with the mount at one vertex and the existing support structure as one side of the triangle. The mount can be perpendicular or parallel to the support structure. The arms may be curved or otherwise shaped to avoid other objects. The accessory mount both spreads the load on the support structure and provides an inherently strong triangulated structure for mounting the object or accessory.
