  • Patent number: 10870135
Abstract: A pressure washer includes a pump for pressurizing a primary fluid flow, the pump including a pump inlet for receiving fluid from a common fluid source and a pump outlet for supplying a pressurized primary fluid and a jet pump including a primary fluid inlet fluidly coupled to the pump outlet, a secondary fluid inlet configured to receive fluid from the common fluid source, and a fluid outlet. In a high pressure operating mode, all of the pressurized primary fluid flows through the jet pump and exits through the fluid outlet of the jet pump. In a high flow operating mode, all the pressurized primary fluid flows through the jet pump and entrains a secondary fluid supplied through the secondary fluid inlet from the common fluid source so that the secondary fluid also flows through the jet pump, resulting in a combined fluid flow of the primary fluid and the secondary fluid that exits through the fluid outlet of the jet pump.

  • Publication number: 20200253360
Abstract: A backpack system for use with a power tool, the system including a harness system configured to extend at least over a user's shoulders, and a carrier portion configured to be coupled to the harness system. At least one battery pack is housed within the carrier portion, and at least one electrical connector is coupled to the at least one battery pack, with the at least one battery pack being configured to provide power to the power tool. The carrier portion may further include at least one opening formed therein to allow the passage of air at least partially through the carrier portion. The power tool may be a string trimmer or a blower. Additionally, one or more carrier portions may be recharged in a recharging station which is configured to allow for hands-free connection of a carrier portion to a user's harness system.

  • Publication number: 20200001313
Abstract: A pressure washer structured to output a pressurized fluid including an engine having a throttle plate structured to move between a closed position and a wide-open position, a pump driven by the engine and having an inlet and an outlet that discharges fluid, a spray gun having a spray gun inlet fluidly coupled to the outlet of the pump and a nozzle structured to discharge the fluid and having selectable nozzle orifices, and an electronic governor system structured to control a speed of the engine. The electronic governor system includes a carburetor, a motor coupled to the throttle plate to move the throttle plate between the closed and wide-open position, and a controller coupled to the motor to control the motor to control the speed of the engine in response to a selection of at least one of the one or more selectable nozzle orifices.

  • Patent number: 7395080
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for sending caller ID information including a PTT signal up to a user interface module quickly, instead of first sending an incoming call alert or an incoming call alert and caller ID information without PTT information, and later sending the PTT information. A bypass alert message may be included with the caller ID information relating to the incoming call message sent from the main control task to the user interface module.

  • Patent number: 7313365
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for processing a digital only call origination request. When the digital call is released, a wireless communication device does not scan for a more preferred communication system, even if the wireless communication device has acquired a less preferred communication system. Instead, the device continues to be locked onto the current system. The device may wait until the expiration of a re-scan timer.

  • Patent number: 7224960
Abstract: A system for updating a wireless application is provided. The system has a network service area that uses multiple networks to provide wireless coverage. An application server couples to one of the networks, and is used to communicate with local applications that operate on wireless devices within the network service area. These wireless devices also operate standard lower-level process that provide for basic connectivity and information transfer, with these lower-level process providing a network identification value. The local application monitors this network identification value, and when it changes, generates an alert that is transmitted to the application server. The alert may include information regarding the new network, therefore the application server is updated to know what network the wireless device is operating on.
