Publication number: 20140101591Abstract: Systems and methods in accordance with various embodiments of the present invention provide for representing a plurality of data values of a hierarchical dataset as graphical elements in a configurable data visualization. A first data visualization may be displayed in a data visualization display page, along with a user interface. A selection of a rendered root node and rendered leaf nodes to be displayed in a second data visualization is received from the user interface. Based on the selection of the rendered root node and rendered leaf nodes, a number of depth levels to display is determined. Also, which of the depth levels to display are identified based on the selection of the rendered root node and rendered leaf nodes. The second data visualization is rendered based on the determined number of depth levels and the identified depth levels.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 11, 2013Publication date: April 10, 2014Inventors: Jonathan Helfman, Joseph Goldberg

Patent number: 8393342Abstract: The present invention includes a walking cane having a handle assembly, a support assembly and foot member. The handle assembly includes first and second generally upright rigid posts. A shaft adaptable for grasping by a user's hand connects to each end of the posts. Pliable mounts dispose between the terminal ends of the shaft and each post. The mounts, biased against the shaft, permit omni-directional movement of the shaft relative to each post. The support assembly connects to the handle assembly and includes three parallel elongated rods spaced apart from one another in a triangular formation. The handle assembly can be adjusted relative to the support assembly by means of two cooperating shims. The foot member connects to the support assembly and contacts the ground. The cane provides a light-weight shaft and a shock absorbing handle assembly to assist in relieving hand, wrist and arm strains.Type: GrantFiled: September 29, 2010Date of Patent: March 12, 2013Assignee: Kineticane, LLCInventors: Ronald M. Publication number: 20050004911Abstract: A graphical condition builder is provided that presents a graphical representation of a search query. In an embodiment, the graphical condition builder presents a graphical and numerical preview indicating the size of the expected query results set. In an embodiment, a graphical preview is provided that includes graphical preview portions having a shape suggestive of a funnel. In an embodiment, the graphical condition builder supports formulating queries for both relational and multidimentional databases. In an embodiment, the graphical condition builder displays a textual indication of the type of logical operation being performed. In an embodiment, the graphical condition builder determines the type of logical operator to apply depending on the relative location of icons representing filter objects. In an embodiment, order dependent filters are available to the user. In an embodiment, the search query is represented by query steps, and multiple filter objects may be contained in each query step.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 25, 2003Publication date: January 6, 2005Applicant: ORACLE INTERNATIONAL CORPORATIONInventors: Joseph Goldberg, Uday Gajendar

Patent number: 5217669Abstract: A method of making a flexible composite tool particularly adapted for composite molding and the composite tool made by this method. The method includes dissolving a B-staged fluoroelastomer in a suitable solvent such as methyl ethyl ketone or toluene to form a fluoroelastomer solution. A fabric is then coated with the fluoroelastomer solution. The solvent is evaporated and the impregnated fabric is sandwiched between unreinforced sheets to form a reinforced tooling material. The reinforced tooling material is laid up with alternating layers of unreinforced fluoroelastomer and then cured to form a composite tool which is stable through multiple thermal cycles. In addition, an elastomer tool can be provided with detail cavities shaped to accept separately formed detail structures, with each cavity including extra reinforcement in order to locate the details to close tolerances without extensive hand positioning or use of adhesives. The tool is useful in molding composites and is reusable.Type: GrantFiled: September 11, 1991Date of Patent: June 8, 1993Assignee: United Technologies CorporationInventors: Alex C. Dublinski, David A. Evans, Joseph Goldberg, Geoffrey C. R. Davis, Sharp, Jr., William, Michael A. Kornitzky
