Publication number: 20220346703Abstract: Technologies for evaluating a user's musculoskeletal health and prescribing treatment plans for the user based on the musculoskeletal health is provided. The disclosed techniques include a computing system receiving input data from a client device. The system formatting the input data to generate one or more sets of user characteristic data values and determining initial levels of user musculoskeletal health for the user based upon the sets of user characteristic data values. The system selects a set of treatment plans for the user based on the initial levels of user musculoskeletal health. The system presents the set of treatment plans to the user using media that allows the user to interactively perform exercises prescribed in the treatment plan.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 21, 2022Publication date: November 3, 2022Inventors: Armia Abdo, Bruce Hoffman, Nathaniel Joseph Gonzales

Publication number: 20160318171Abstract: A telescopic saw includes a handle, a power switch, one or more telescopic poles, an electric reciprocating saw holder and a saw blade. The handle houses a battery within a holder section of the handle, and the power switch is positioned at a distal end of the handle, and in communication with the battery. The telescopic poles are attached to each other and extending from the handle, where a last of the telescopic poles is pivotally connected to the second last telescopic pole. The electric reciprocating saw holder is fastened to a distal end of the last telescopic pole, where the electric reciprocating saw holder holds the saw blade. The saw blade is hingedly connected to the electric reciprocating saw holder, where the saw blade sways along a predefined angle in horizontal direction, and reciprocate linearly to prune an object, when the power switch is actuated by a user.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 6, 2016Publication date: November 3, 2016Inventor: Joseph Gonzales

Patent number: 9125555Abstract: A surgical valve includes a housing with a proximal housing portion and a distal housing portion cooperating to define a gel cavity. A seal material is disposed in the gel cavity and includes a gel having flow characteristics and incompressible characteristics. A distal guide tube is provided to facilitate retrograde insertion of a surgical instrument into the seal material. During assembly, pressure is applied by the housing portions to the seal material in order to form a circumferential seal and to close an instrument channel. Manufacture can be facilitated by use of a mandrel for maintaining the structural elements in axial alignment. Complimentary screw threads disposed between the first and second housing portions can be used to pressurize the gel and thereby create a locking force on an inserted instrument. Detented tabs can be provided to facilitate control of this locking force.Type: GrantFiled: August 22, 2012Date of Patent: September 8, 2015Assignee: Applied Medical Resources CorporationInventors: Joseph A. Gonzales, Boun Pravong, Richard C. Ewers, Richard L. Myers

Patent number: 8758179Abstract: An electrically-variable transmission for a vehicle is disclosed. The transmission includes an input member and an output member each rotatable about a first axis. The transmission includes a casing defining a cavity between a first end wall and a second end wall. The transmission includes a first motor/generator and a second motor/generator disposed in the cavity with a second planetary gear set disposed between the first and second motor/generators along the first axis. The transmission includes a first torque-transmitting mechanism disposed between the first and second motor/generators along the first axis. The transmission includes a second torque-transmitting mechanism disposed between the first end wall and the first motor/generator along the first axis. The first motor/generator is disposed between the first and second torque-transmitting mechanisms along the first axis.Type: GrantFiled: October 22, 2012Date of Patent: June 24, 2014Assignee: GM Global Technology Operations LLCInventors: John A. Diemer, Pete R. Garcia, Douglas John Dwenger, Boris Burgman, Robert Joseph Gonzales, Kent A. Miller

Patent number: 6837871Abstract: A catheter having an elongate drainage tube with a proximal end and a distal end, is adapted to extend through a body conduit and into a body cavity. An anchor disposed the distal end of the tube is disposed in the body cavity and is adapted to be moved from an insertion position to a withdrawal position. The anchor in the insertion position has a low profile when the tube is moved distally and in the withdrawal position has a low profile when the tube is moved proximally. The first end of the anchor is attached to the tube, and a tension member is provided to extend distally of the tube to releasably hold the second end of the anchor in a fixed relationship with the tube. In an associated method, this tension member is severed to release the second end of the anchor from the tube and permit withdrawal of the tube and the anchor in a low-profile state.Type: GrantFiled: March 31, 2003Date of Patent: January 4, 2005Assignee: Applied Medical ResourcesInventors: Joseph A.
