Such feedback allows the unique paddle to act as a technical aid for all levels of swimmers, as well as a device to build the correct muscles required to swim with proper stroke mechanics through constant monitoring. The disclosed invention will introduce resistance that will impede the swimmer's forward progress only when a pull is not properly executed, which means that it will be easier for the swimmer to execute a full proper stroke rather than swim with poor mechanics. Additionally, the disclosed invention will assist in the proper hand placement and orientation at the beginning of the stroke.

The said physical training apparatus is designed to be used in conjunction with a starting apparatus to allow the trainee to execute resistive movements with identical technique to a sporting activity. The versatility of design of the disclosed invention allows the trainee to better translate the benefits of a resistive exercise into a sporting activity by incorporating the use of common athletic elements. Further benefits stem for the reduction of time and movement between a resistive exercise and an unrestrained athletic routine due to the ability of the disclosed invention to be utilized within the environment of the sporting activity.

A method for delivering a stimulating catheter includes introducing the distal regions of the conductive wire and catheter into a subject, rotating the rotating portion of the reel dispenser relative to the base portion whereby the catheter and conductive wire are advanced into the subject, providing an electrical current to the conductive wire through the axle, and rewinding the rotating portion of the reel dispenser relative to the base portion whereby the conductive wire is retracted in a proximal direction through the catheter.
