  • Publication number: 20240120089
Abstract: Systems and methods for providing a dynamic medical practice queueing platform via at least one patient user mobile device in operable connection with a network. An application server is in operable communication with the network to host an application program for displaying, via a display module, a virtual patient queue. The application program includes a user interface module for providing access to the virtual patient queue through the display module. A geofencing module determines the location of a user in reference to a geofenced location. A virtual patient queue module determines a time of arrival of a patient using the current location of the patient and positions the patient within a virtual queue.

  • Patent number: 11925465
Abstract: Uroflowmeters and methods for processing data generated therefrom are disclosed. In one aspect, the uroflowmeter is a handheld device. The uroflowmeter includes a handle, a flow chamber coupled to the handle, and a sensor associated with the flow chamber that detects a parameter of urine received in the flow chamber. The uroflowmeter may include both reusable and disposable components. As a uroflowmeter it can identify and record data corresponding to the rate of flow over the measured duration of a void of urine, but may also timestamp the voiding act and communicate the data to an external data collection center for additional analysis and incorporation into a comprehensive voiding report or voiding diary.

  • Patent number: 11847697
Abstract: A method is provided for compressing data in an exchange computer system. The method includes receiving position data indicative of a position held with respect to a financial instrument by an exchange participant from among a plurality of exchange participants, and receiving constraint data indicative of one or more constraints on compression defined by the exchange participant. The exchange computer system compresses data based on the position data and the constraint data, resulting in, for each of the plurality of exchange participants, a new allocation of position sizes relative to positions held prior to compression. The new allocation of position sizes is such that a set of long positions held by the plurality of exchange participants with respect to the financial instrument are cancelled out by a set of short positions held by the plurality of exchange participants with respect to the financial instrument.

  • Publication number: 20230379179
Abstract: Blockchain-based systems and methods for providing secure digital identities and affiliations for users via digital tokens. A set of digital tokens are generated that are sharable on a distributed computer network. The set of digital tokens are affiliated with an entity or a person. One or more of the digital tokens are provided to one or more users of the distributed computer network, where the one or more users comprise at least a first user, and where the first user is provided a first token selected from the one or more of the digital tokens. The first user is identified as affiliated with the entity or the person based on a receipt of an indication that the first user is associated with the first token.

  • Patent number: 11823264
Abstract: Systems and techniques are disclosed for reducing regulatory capital requirements for market participants with financial positions. Participant positions are received in a database for matching the participant positions. Additionally, participant assessed theoretical value by position, capital requirement reduction benefit for closing transactions and penalty for opening transactions by position, compression cost constraints, and zero or more custom constraints specifying acceptable risk profile in a portfolio of trades are received from each participant. A set of trades between a plurality of participants that delivers a capital requirement reduction to each of the plurality of participants, while simultaneously satisfying all participant specified cost and risk constraints is calculated. A time period to review and approve compression portfolios prior to consummating trades is provided.

  • Patent number: 11017151
Abstract: A scalable hierarchical coreference method that employs a homomorphic compression scheme that supports addition and partial subtraction to more efficiently represent the data and the evolving intermediate results of probabilistic inference. The method may encode the features underlying conditional random field models of coreference resolution so that cosine similarities can be efficiently computed. The method may be applied to compressing features and intermediate inference results for conditional random fields. The method may allow compressed representations to be added and subtracted in a way that preserves the cosine similarities.

  • Patent number: 10755875
Abstract: A switch mechanism includes a housing with a fenestration, a switch element held in the housing, and a first tab and a second tab each being pivotally attached to an opposite lateral edge of the fenestration. The tabs are constrained to rotational movement relative to the housing so that contact with the first tab or the second tab causes the respective tab to rotate to actuate the switch element.

  • Patent number: 10691753
Abstract: Embodiments perform string similarity analysis by receiving candidate strings of a collection to be searched and transforming each candidate string into one or more features. Embodiments generate a feature index that maps each of the features to one or more candidate strings which include the features, and transform the feature index into a low-memory index by byte encoding a sorted integer array into an encoded byte array. The transforming into a low-memory index further includes hashing each feature to an integer value and storing using a tightly-packed map a hashed value to feature identification (“ID”) mapping, using a first tightly-packed list to map each of the feature IDs to one or more candidate strings which include the features, and using a second tightly-packed list to store the feature IDs.

  • Patent number: 10307003
Abstract: A plate comprises a planar central region with a perimeter and a lip with first and second sections, each including two ends. A first end of the first section extends from the perimeter up and away from the planar central region, and a first of the second section extends from a second of the two ends of the first section down and away from the planar central region. A plate comprises circular, mid and end regions. The mid-region protrudes from an outer edge of the circular region in a first direction away therefrom. The end-region protrudes from an outer edge of the mid-region in an opposite direction and away therefrom. The mid and end-regions include openings. A plate comprises a first area and a rim surrounding the first area. The rim has walls which intersect. Each of the walls is either straight or concave. Both of the walls includes openings.
