  • Publication number: 20250288358
Abstract: Some embodiments described herein relate to a method (e.g., a computer-implemented method) that includes receiving data associated with an operative field that includes a subject from an optical sensor. A three-dimensional (3D) virtual model associated with at least one of the subject or an object in the operative field can be accessed, and an observed mesh that includes a representation of the subject, based on the data received from the optical sensor can be defined. A virtual 3D environment, including the virtual model can be defined. The virtual model can be registered to the observed mesh, or the observed mesh can be registered to virtual model. A rendering of the virtual model can be projected, in real time, into the operative field such that the rendering of the virtual model is scaled and oriented relative to the at least one of the subject or the object in the real-world operative field as it appears in the virtual 3D environment.

  • Patent number: 8706134
Abstract: An approach is disclosed for providing navigation information for a requested listing to a mobile device caller of a directory assistance call. If the caller selects an option to receive driving directions to the listing destination, the directory assistance provider forwards the listing address to a platform that correlates the address with location coordinates. The platform can poll the calling device to obtain GPS identifying data for the mobile device and derive mapping and routing information.
