  • Patent number: 11033091
Abstract: A deodorant dispensing system is provided. The system includes a reusable deodorant case having a body and a dial rotatably coupled to the body. The body is structured to receive a replaceable deodorant cartridge containing an unused deodorant puck. Operation of the dial along a predetermined rotational direction causes the deodorant puck to dispense for application by a user, whereas operation of the dial along a rotational direction opposite to the predetermined rotational direction causes the deodorant puck to retract within the deodorant cartridge. Operation of the dial in a direction to retract the deodorant puck after the deodorant puck it is fully retracted causes the dial to rotate freely with respect to the body without causing damage to internal components of the deodorant dispensing system.

  • Publication number: 20150059188
Abstract: An exemplary aspect comprises a tape dispensing member comprising a roller and a tape cutting blade; and a paper cutting blade affixed to the tape dispensing member, the paper cutting blade connecting the body to a protective cover, wherein the protective cover is sufficiently near the body to prevent a user's finger from contacting the paper cutting blade, and wherein the protective cover is sufficiently distant from the body to allow a sheet of paper to pass between the cover and the body and be cut by the paper cutting blade. Another aspect comprises a member having an inside diameter sufficient to encircle a roll of wrapping paper, and having two ends, the member having a gap between the two ends and an elongated opening in one of the two ends; a first cutting blade crossing the gap; and a second cutting blade disposed within the elongated opening.

  • Patent number: 6173882
Abstract: A workpiece is held at a welding station by several clamps during welding. After welding, the workpiece is transferred to a checking station where a determination is made of the actual location of critical points on the workpiece. The actual critical point locations are compared with ideal critical point locations to determine if there is any error in the manner in which the workpiece was held by the clamps. If an error is determined, one or more of the clamps are adjusted to compensate for the error when holding a subsequent workpiece for welding. Apparatus is also provided for carrying out the method of this invention.
