  • Publication number: 20040080530
Abstract: The present invention provides for a wardrobe previewing system that allows a user to preview how clothing items will look when worn without having to put on the clothing items. The wardrobe previewing system includes a mobile communication device, clothing tags for identifying clothing items, and a means for storing clothing item images. The mobile communication device further includes a camera capable of capturing an image of the clothing tags, a display, and application software for enabling the mobile communication device to display a preview of clothing items on the user. The application software overlays the retrieved clothing item image onto the image of the user or, alternatively, a second person, stored in the memory of the mobile communication device to produce a composite image. The application software then displays the composite image on the display of the mobile communication device to give the user a preview of how the clothing item will look when worn.

  • Patent number: 6661433
Abstract: The present invention provides for a wardrobe previewing system that allows a person to preview how clothing items will look on her without having to put on the clothing items. The wardrobe previewing system includes a portable device, clothing tags for identifying clothing items, and a means for storing clothing item images. The portable device further includes a scanner capable of reading the clothing tags, a display, and an application software for enabling the portable device to display a preview of clothing items on the person. In addition, an image of the person is stored in the memory of the portable device. The person scans the clothing tag of a potential clothing item with the scanner, and retrieves a clothing item image corresponding to the scanned clothing item. The application software overlays the retrieved clothing item image onto the image of the person stored in the memory of the portable device to produce a composite image.

  • Publication number: 20020085772
Abstract: A method is disclosed for automatically correcting an incorrectly recognized or converted character of text input onto a display screen of a computing device (e.g., a pen-based computer system such as a personal digital assistant) with a next most likely intended character upon actuation of a correction key. The next most likely intended character is preferably determined by ranking a plurality of potential intended characters, and then selecting a highest ranking character from the ranked plurality of potential intended characters as the next most likely intended character. The plurality of potential intended characters may be ranked based on statistical probabilities that one character will be incorrectly converted as another character, common sense that one character will be incorrectly converted as another character, and prior handwriting data choices collected for a user of the computing device.

  • Patent number: 5907957
Abstract: A compressor discharge pressure control system employed on a container refrigeration unit utilizes a pressure transducer located in the high pressure side of the system and a data processor to control and limit the compressor discharge pressure to a maximum value when the normal condenser pressure controls are inactive. The pressure control system operates the suction modulation valve in a manner that significantly reduces compressor cycling and increases refrigeration system capacity during pull-down periods. The pressure control system also operates during water-cooled operation of a refrigeration system having a water-cooled condenser thereby eliminating the need to provide a water pressure switch in the refrigeration system.

  • Patent number: 4844780
Abstract: The brightener for an aqueous tin, lead or tin-lead alloy plating bath comprises an effective amount of a primary brightening agent including glutaraldehyde, an effective amount of a secondary brightening agent selected from the group consisting of lower aliphatic and aromatic aldehydes, surface active and levelling agents for the entire range of current densities of from about 20 amperes per square foot to about 250 amperes per square foot, a stabilizing and deoxidizing agents including N.N..sup.1 -di-sec-butyl-p-phenylenediamine, and an organic solvent.
