  • Patent number: 10877975
Abstract: Machine learning of selections of electronic records between a user environment and a customer environment is implemented using an intermediary virtual environment. A request received from the user environment includes a request for electronic records corresponding to the customer environment. A selection of electronic records is determined based on the request and transmitted to the user environment. A message received from the user environment includes an indication of one or more electronic records selected from the user environment. A next request from the customer environment includes a request to determine that a second selection of electronic records of the customer environment is indicated within the intermediary virtual environment. A message is transmitted to the customer environment responsive to determining that the second selection of electronic records corresponds to the one or more electronic records indicated from the user environment.

  • Patent number: 6655126
Abstract: An overthrust protection system for a gas turbine in which fuel is supplied at a controlled flow rate to a combustor (4) of the gas turbine. The overthrust protection system uses a bypass valve (24) to divert fuel flow away from the combustor (4). The opening of this valve is controlled by an overthrust controller (28) to divert fuel flow in response to a detected overthrust condition of the gas turbine. Diverting some of the fuel flow in this manner brings about a reduction in the thrust, allowing the overthrust condition to be controlled without resorting to a complete shut down of the gas turbine.

  • Patent number: 6395228
Abstract: An NIR sampling system designed to provide a stable gasoline sample stream to an NIR analyzer. Preferred design elements include a temperature-controlled stream moving through an inverted coalesce whereby gas bubbles are removed through an overhead stream. Elevated pressure is used to reduce degassing as well. Two or more prototype fuels can be injected to calibrate the instrument over a range and prove accuracy before and/or after analysis of a sample.

  • Patent number: 5246120
Abstract: A substantially L-shaped bicycle rack includes a substantially vertical first member adapted to be fastened to a vertical supporting surface such as a wall, and a substantially horizontal second member extending away from the wall and pivotally mounted to the first member for movement between a first substantially vertical inoperative position, and a second substantially horizontal operative position. The first member is formed with an elongated groove for receiving one portion of a bicycle wheel and the second member is formed with an elongated slot for receiving another portion of the same wheel. The rack is located at a height on the wall so that the bicycle may be tilted back on its rear wheel and rolled into place on the rack, with the front wheel supported in the groove and slot.

  • Patent number: 5129221
Abstract: A relight fuel flow schedule controls fuel flow to the combustor of a turbofan aeroengine during in-flight relight procedures. A first fuel ramp, whose slope decreases with increasing altitude, enables the combustor to light with minimum fuel flow for the altitude and thus helps to prevent overfueling. The fuel flow rate undergoes a step reduction, after detection of satisfactory combustion, to prevent compressor stall, but cannot drop below a predetermined level to guard against flameout. The first fuel ramp is repeated if satisfactory combustion does not occur. After a successive relight a second fuel ramp is varied from flat to positive slope depending on the ratio of the rate of change of high pressure compressor speed to a datum level in order to prevent a hung start and accelerate the engine until normal acceleration control laws takes over.
