Abstract: A solar module mounting bracket system including a plurality of solar modules including mounting slots formed in a sidewall of the solar module, a torque tube configured to support the solar modules such that they can be rotated, a plurality of mounting brackets configured for integration with the torque tube and to which the plurality of solar modules are mounted, at least one first retainer assembly connected to one of the plurality of mounting brackets, the first retainer assembly including a through bolt, a spring, a mounting tab, and nut. When a solar module is placed on the mounting bracket and supported by the torque tube the mounting tab retainer assembly is received in the mounting slot of the solar module.

Abstract: A linear capacitance displacement transducer for measuring absolute displacement is formed from a coaxial variable capacitor and a precision capacitance measuring electronic circuit. The plates of the coaxial capacitor are attached to the members of an assembly whose displacement relative to one another is to be determined. Linear displacement of the members causes a linear displacement between the capacitor plates which is reflected in a linear capacitance change. A capacitor controlled oscillator utilizes the coaxial variable capacitor at its input. The capacitor controlled oscillator whose period of oscillation is been determined by the capacitance and locked in phase with changes of capacitance is utilized as a precision measure of capacitance. The period of the square wave output of the oscillator is a linear function of the capacitance of the variable capacitor at any time. The transducer may be adapted to determine the absolute position of a piston rod in a hydraulic cylinder.

Abstract: A fitting for connecting a metal conduit to a conventional 37.degree. flared adapter which does not require flaring of the conduit, and constitutes a compression type fitting utilizing a radially contractable ferrule and compression nut. Metal-to-metal sealing contact is achieved, and no modification of the conduit is required.
