Publication number: 20240258543Abstract: A multi-function fuel delivery system, a method of providing fuel delivery and a noise-attenuating and fuel injector housing device address a root cause of audible noise in a fuel delivery system by placing a sufficiently sized volume directly at the inlet of pulsed-type hydrogen injectors, thereby eliminating pressure pulsation and audible noise created by pressure pulsations. By combining a noise-attenuating function and a fuel supply rail capable of supplying hydrogen to multiple injectors with both performed within a single volume addresses space-related and cost-related challenges as well as other challenges of the fuel delivery system.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 1, 2023Publication date: August 1, 2024Applicant: GM GLOBAL TECHNOLOGY OPERATIONS LLCInventors: Joseph Hahn, Scott May

Patent number: 11713734Abstract: A multi-function fuel delivery system and method of providing fuel delivery is provided that addresses space-related and cost related challenges as well as other challenges by combining a noise attenuating function, a hydrogen heating function, and a fuel supply rail capable of supplying hydrogen to multiple injectors within a single volume where a heat-transfer core utilizes an existing available internal volume of an attenuating volume or a fuel rail of a hydrogen supply manifold. A hydrogen fuel manifold, a hydrogen heat exchanger, and a fuel rail are housed in a single chamber such that a hydrogen fuel heating/cooling function, a hydrogen fuel noise/vibration attenuating function, providing the heat to the heat-transfer core, and providing the noise-attenuated H2 are performed in the single chamber.Type: GrantFiled: February 1, 2023Date of Patent: August 1, 2023Assignee: GM Global Technology Operations LLCInventors: Jie Kou, Joseph Hahn, Christopher L. Patent number: 11577655Abstract: A flexible shelf guard for securing items or products in a shelf of a recreational vehicle is disclosed. The shelf guard is designed with a first section and a second section. The first section and the second section are molded to a middle section using a two-shot molding process, thereby producing the shelf guard. The shelf guard is securely and removably affixed to a top portion of the shelf by inwardly folding both end portions of the first section and the second section. The shelf guard comprises a holder and a drainer. The holder is molded to a front portion of the middle section of the shelf guard using any molding process. The drainer is configured to drain fluid/water within the shelf, thereby preventing the growth of molds and microorganisms by maintaining a dry environment within the shelf.Type: GrantFiled: June 3, 2020Date of Patent: February 14, 2023Inventor: John Joseph Hahn

Publication number: 20160009749Abstract: The present invention provides methods to treat mixtures containing natural rebaudioside A (Reb A), rebaudioside B (Reb B), and rebaudioside D (Reb D), synthetic counterparts of these, and/or derivatives of the natural or synthetic embodiments obtain one or more of these glycosides in more pure form. In many embodiments, the invention can be used to process glycoside mixtures obtained at least in part from natural sources such as the Stevia plant. This allows, for instance, the recovery of a product including Reb A material in more pure form relative to Reb B material or Reb D material. As an alternative or in addition to recovery of the purified Reb A material, a product including Reb B material and/or Reb D material in more pure form relative to Reb A material can be obtained.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 1, 2015Publication date: January 14, 2016Inventors: Aron Broman ERICKSON, John Joseph HAHN, Allan Stuart MYERSON, Andrew Keith OHMES, Troy Allen RHONEMUS, Kern M. Publication number: 20070105190Abstract: A process for hydrolyzing products with enzymatic activity remaining in peptone solutions after mucosa hydrolysis is provided along with a process for preserving mucosa tissue. Broadly, the processes are carried out by hydrolyzing mucosa tissue according to conventional heparin manufacturing processes wherein an excess quantity of proteolytic enzymes is used. The resulting peptone solution is then contacted with proteins or protein-containing materials in order to hydrolyze the proteins. In another embodiment, mucosa tissue is preserved by mixing it with a preserving agent selected from the group consisting of hydrogen peroxide and phosphoric acid. The product preserved by hydrogen peroxide is low in ash, stable for at least a week, and has a reduced odor.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 28, 2006Publication date: May 10, 2007Inventors: John Lee, Joseph Hahn, Robert Musser
