  • Publication number: 20240105264
Abstract: The present disclosure includes apparatuses and methods for acceleration of data queries in memory. A number of embodiments include an array of memory cells, and processing circuitry configured to receive, from a host, a query for particular data stored in the array of memory cells, wherein the particular data corresponds to a search key generated by the host, search portions of the array of memory cells for the particular data corresponding to the search key, determine data stored in the portions of the array of memory cells that matches the search key, and transfer the data that matches the search key to the host.

  • Patent number: 11911254
Abstract: A surgically implanted occluding assembly comprises an implant body having a longitudinally split generally ā€œCā€-shaped cross-section tube circumscribing an anatomical lumen. In one embodiment, the surgically implanted occluding assembly is a male continence device selectively occluding a urethra. In some embodiments an occluding magnet is rigidly affixed with the implant body, and an external selective occlusion control assembly is used to selectively activate the surgically implanted occluding assembly. The external assembly has a magnet, and body supporting the magnet. The external selective occlusion control assembly is configured to be selectively placed and retained adjacent to the surgically implanted occluding assembly.

  • Publication number: 20220258069
Abstract: The industrial production of an extract by means of solid-liquid extraction improves the exchange of substances during extraction and allows enhanced dehumidification of a raffinate with residual moisture. The extraction is enhanced during a first dwell time by at least partially flooding a vessel in the form of at least one flow discharged with a secondary solvent or the obtained extract, swirling and keeping in suspension the primary mixture within the vessel by supplying the secondary solvent or the obtained extract via a foot area of the vessel, and/or moving the vessel relative to the extraction container within the obtained extract. The secondary solvent or the extract circulates in the extraction container by a circulation guide incorporating the extraction container from top to bottom relative to the extraction container, and the extract freed from raffinate with residual moisture obtained by dehumidification is supplied to the separated or to be separated extract.

  • Publication number: 20220184524
Abstract: Controlling the production of an extract using solid-liquid extraction that improves the exchange of material during the extraction process and allows a controlled dehumidification of a raffinate with residual moisture in order to obtain additional valuable extract is described. The steps include providing a first mass in an extraction container, supplying a second mass to the first mass without spatial constraints and distributing and mixing the second mass into and with the first mass, discharging a mixture of the extract and the raffinate from the extraction container, separating the discharged mixture into the raffinate with residual moisture and extracts released from the raffinate with residual moisture, and further treating the raffinate with residual moisture at least such that the residual moisture consisting of the extract is at least partly removed from the raffinate with residual moisture by dehumidification and is supplied to the already separated extract.

  • Publication number: 20120265710
Abstract: Method and system to provide an exchange to enable trading of liability for uncertain tax positions between a taxpayer and a counterparty. The exchange provides risk assessments and operates as a market maker to consummate bids and acceptance thereof over a network. The method comprises obtaining over a network an indication of the valuation risk associated with the taxpayer's position; recalculating a risk profile of the tax position using weighting factors such as knowledge of tax laws, tax administrative department rulings, regulations, and court decisions; and providing the recalculated risk profile to counterparties who may place bids regarding the tax position in exchange for a proposed payment. The invention may also enable the taxpayer and counterparty to conclude a financial transaction concerning the tax position and the proposed payment. The invention is particularly directed to mitigating uncertainty regarding a taxpayer's FIN 48 tax position.
