Publication number: 20240139109Abstract: The pharmacokinetic profile of the SGLT2 inhibitor bexagliflozin can be improved by formulating it as an extended release tablet. Compared with standard immediate-release dosage forms these tablets can permit a lower peak plasma concentration, Cmax, while maintaining plasma concentrations at therapeutic levels for a desired period. This can be used, for instance, to administer lower doses while still providing the same pharmacological effect.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 3, 2023Publication date: May 2, 2024Inventors: Feng WANG, Ankit SHRIVASTAVA, Rina SHAH, Brian SEED, Vinay PATIL, Michael J. Patent number: 11972551Abstract: A detection system detects malfunctions in an autonomous farming vehicle during an autonomous routine using one or more models and data from sensors coupled to the autonomous farming vehicle. The models may include machine-learned models trained on the sensor data and configured to identify objects indicative of an operational or malfunctioning component within a tilling assembly such as a tilling shank or sweep. Additionally, a machine-learned model may be trained on sensor data to detect whether debris has plugged the tilling assembly of the autonomous farming vehicle. In response to detecting a malfunction or a plug, the detection system may modify the autonomous routine (e.g., pausing operation) or provide information for the malfunction to be addressed (e.g., the likely location of a malfunctioning sweep that has detached from the tilling assembly).Type: GrantFiled: December 18, 2020Date of Patent: April 30, 2024Assignee: BLUE RIVER TECHNOLOGY INC.Inventors: Divya Sharma, Michael Albert Elcano, Byron Gajun Ho, Jeremy Douglas Krantz, Tyler Niday, Robert Joseph Plumeau

Publication number: 20060234960Abstract: A method is provided for increasing the safety and efficacy of albumin-binding drugs such as those used as anti-cancer, anti-infective, or anti-hypertensive drugs, or for numerous other conditions. In the preferred method, the invention modulates those drugs which bind at the IB site on human serum albumin by co-administering a compound which is highly tolerable to humans and which can bind competitively with those albumin-binding drugs at the IB binding site so as to increase the safety and efficacy of the drug. The invention is advantageous in that by administering the highly tolerable compound in a sufficient amount to compete with the targeted drug, the latter can be administered at a much lower dosage while maintaining or exceeding its potency. Compositions containing the combination of highly tolerable compound and albumin-bind drugs are also disclosed.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 2, 2006Publication date: October 19, 2006Inventors: Zhongmin Wang, Joseph Ho, Daniel Carter
