  • Publication number: 20030229810
Abstract: This invention discloses a means of preventing software virus attacks on personal computers and computing devices, data networks, and internet host computer systems. By converting incoming data to an image file and displaying the same, coupled to a specialized area array image detector, the resulting information is reconverted into appropriate formatted document style and embedded images, if any. The invention provides internet isolation and PC file protection, obviating hacker interrogation.

  • Publication number: 20030193118
Abstract: A method and means of providing stromal repair and improved refractive correction by creating corneal stromal collagen tissue with fibril diameter and spacing that duplicates the optical transmission and diffusion characteristics of natural corneal collagen.

  • Publication number: 20030120140
Abstract: An improved polygraph method of achieving real time determination of the veracity of an individual by direct observation of synaptic activity via medical imaging, such as provided by Positron Emission Tomography or Functional Magnetic Resonance. Given situations where non factual statements are made by a given test subject, higher order brain functions which affect secondary and tertiary functions and autonomic activity in the Cerebellum, Pons, and Medulla Oblongata, offer significant and observable synaptic action when juxtaposed with similar reference conditions where the individual is truthful. The disclosed invention eliminates error prone interpretation of conventional polygraph results, which relay on heart rate, blood pressure, skin conductance, respiration rate, voice stress, and body motion or expressions, thus offering a significantly improved means of determining truthful cooperation of a given subject.

  • Patent number: 6368526
Abstract: An improved method and means for eliminating scratches and other mechanical surface damage from polycarbonate compact disc plastic surfaces. The method consists in applying a liquid of suitable composition to the surface of a compact disc or plastic object, allowing an average of 10 seconds or less for the solvent to soften the plastic substrate, and removing the liquid by draining and evaporation. No abrasive, filler or polishing compounds are required. Suitable liquids include those comprising a solvent for the plastic and a non-solvent diluent and a small quantity of surfactant.

  • Patent number: 6086797
Abstract: An improved method and means for eliminating scratches and other mechanical surface damage from plastic surfaces. The method consists in applying a liquid of suitable composition to the surface of a plastic object, allowing in a short period of time for the solvent to soften the plastic substrate, and removing the liquid by draining and evaporation. No abrasive, filler or polishing compunds are required. Suitable liquids include those comprising a solvent for the plastic and a non-solvent diluent and a small quantity of surfactant.
