  • Patent number: 6585234
Abstract: A fence rail holder for connection to conventional metal fence posts having a generally T-shaped cross section is provided which allows PVC fence rails to be connected to metal fence posts. The fence rail holder detachably mounts on a fence post using at least one clip which attaches to the T-shaped fence post. Openings at opposite side surfaces of the fence rail holder receive and support the fence rails. The fencing system allows the addition of a very visible, white PVC or other rail to a conventional barbed wire or wire mesh fence. The fencing system also includes wire support members which allow electric wire or other wire to be easily connected to a PVC fence.

  • Publication number: 20020088645
Abstract: A support is provided for receiving and supporting a hot wire on a pipe fence. The support includes a wire support member having a base and an insulated wire supporting portion mounted on the base for receiving and supporting a hot wire. The wire support member has at least two fingers for receiving and supporting the hot wire. The wire support member forms two slots such that one slot of one of the fingers opens upward. The other slot of the other finger opens downward. The fingers therein form a channel for installing the hot wire. The support also has a clamp having a circular shape attached to the base of the wire support member and is configured to secure to a cylindrical pipe of a fence.

  • Patent number: 5529544
Abstract: A drive clutch assembly having a fixed sheave and a moveable sheave rotatable with the drive shaft of an engine comprising a multi-staged speed responsive or displacement system. The speed responsive system initially applies a first displacement rate to the moveable sheave as it moves toward the fixed sheave and applies a second displacement rate to the moveable sheave when the drive clutch assembly reaches a predetermined rotational speed.

  • Patent number: 5460575
Abstract: A drive clutch assembly having a fixed sheave and a movable sheave rotatable with the drive shaft of an engine comprising a variable rate biasing or resistance system for urging a movable sheave toward a retracted position, the biasing system initially applies a first predetermined resistance to the movable sheave as it moves toward the fixed sheave and applies a second predetermined resistance to the movable sheave when the movable sheave reaches a predetermined axial position.

  • Patent number: 5443278
Abstract: A snowmobile steering ski or skis, which may be equipped with a ski liner to prevent undue drag on a snowmobile snow, includes a integral fin that enhances steering control in turning or resisting sidehill slippage of the snowmobile particularly in traversing powder or hard packed. The ski liner fin is integral, or replaceable, and extends outwardly along the outer edge and downwardly over a central portion of the ski. The fin contacts the snow on the inner side of either a flat turn, or the uphill slope of a sidehill run, because the forward end of the snowmobile ski is cambered so as to tip downwardly toward the steered direction of a turn.

  • Patent number: 5203895
Abstract: An air filter assembly for an engine such as a chain saw engine. The filter assembly includes a cage, a foam filter having a sidewall surrounding a sidewall of the cage, a retaining member pressing an endwall of the filter against an endwall of the cage and a nut. The nut receives a threaded end of an anchor bolt passing through axially aligned holes in the endwalls of the cage and the filter and a hole in the retaining member. The filter assembly provides high flow rates therethrough and substantially avoids penetration of dirt around the nut connection.
