  • Publication number: 20110286797
Abstract: A large open bottomed under water tank having a base, and valves with hoses located on a top cover, so that when the tank is moved over a leaking pipe or oil well, the rising oil from the leak is collected in the tank, and piped through the valves and hoses to a tanker or to land, and prevented from polluting the ocean and beaches.

  • Publication number: 20100032175
Abstract: A fire fighting process wherein large bubbles are made by blowing batches of a gas through a saponaceous liquid. These bubbles are pumped into a burning building to fill the space and block the air to the fire, and thereby to quickly stop the chemical reaction of combustion.

  • Patent number: 7656242
Abstract: An electrical generator that uses a high frequency oscillator in a tuned circuit, set to resonate with the transmitter coil of a full-length high frequency transformer unit, to generate electromagnetic energy, to transform this energy to electrical energy and to collect this energy.

  • Patent number: 6990885
Abstract: The present invention is a method of interception. When a missile is launched and detected by a satellite, an anti-missile rocket is launched to intercept it. When the anti-missile rocket nears the point of interception, it goes into a turn of about 180 degrees, to reverse its course, and comes in behind the enemy missile, at a speed almost equal to that of the ICBM. In this maneuver, coming in behind the ICBM, it reduces the relative speed of the two rockets from about 13,000 mph to about 50 mph, and allows the interceptor missile to approach the ICBM at a slow speed and easily destroy it.

  • Publication number: 20040088005
Abstract: A novel nipple protection device designed to prevent the nipple of a pacifier or bottle, used by a mammal, from contacting the ground when dropped is disclosed. The basic form of the invention has fixed guards, on each side of a nipple, attached to a housing, which protrude beyond the nipple and prevent it from touching the floor if it falls. The guard members can be rigid or flexible. In another embodiment, the guard members are hinged and light springs are used to partly close them against the mammal's cheeks when in use or around the nipple when the pacifier or bottle falls. A retractable nipple may also be included with either the fixed or pivotal guard designs to further protect the nipple from contamination when dropped. Finally, another variation is to replace the nipple with a straw and the bottle with any other container.

  • Patent number: 6604753
Abstract: A method and apparatus for long vehicles to make sharp turns on city streets without running up on the curb. The back wheels of the vehicle are steered with the aid of a guide control wheel so that when the semi or truck is making a sharp turn, the rear wheels continue straight down the street to the intersection and then turn, even though the semi and the front of the trailer have already turned in a normal manner.

  • Patent number: 6340167
Abstract: This invention is a trailer-tractor rig coupling that prevents jackknifing. It performs like a standard coupling in all normal cases, but if on icy roads, the semi slips and turns opposite to the steering wheel, the coupling brake locks the semi to the tractor. Then when the semi responds to the front wheels again, the brake releases and operates in a normal way.
