Initially, applications are selected from a group of applications adapted for working in conjunction with a first application program interface to gain access to a network. Next, a second application program interface is utilized which is adapted for precluding all of the applications from accessing the network. In use, the selected applications are wrapped for allowing such applications to access the network via the second application program interface.

Abstract: A system, method and computer program product are provided for monitoring intrusion activity utilizing a plurality of firewalls. Initially, network communications are established with a plurality of computers with firewalls over a network. Such firewalls are adapted for collecting information relating to intrusion activity. Once the network communications are established, the information is collected from the firewalls of the computers utilizing the network. Further, a response is transmitted to the firewalls of the computers utilizing the network. The firewalls are adapted for preventing the intrusion activity utilizing the response.

Abstract: A system, method and computer program product are provided for tracing a traffic event utilizing a firewall. Initially, a firewall is executed on a local computer. Next, traffic events between the local computer and a remote computer over a network are monitored utilizing the firewall. Further, the traffic events are displayed utilizing the firewall. In use, at least one of the traffic events is traced utilizing the firewall. Moreover, a map of the trace is displayed for effectively conveying information about the traffic event.
