Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosed technology comprise a bottle, such as a prescription bottle, with an added safety feature, namely, tabs extending from the cap and bottle itself with portals extending there-through for a shackle of a lock. In this manner, prescription bottles, such as those known in the art of dispensing medicine, including those with safety caps, can be secured to a greater extent by way of a lock holding the cap to the bottle or preventing turning or removal of the cap.
