A first user accessing the interface through a first user window is dynamically updated within the first user window and in real time when a second user accessing the interface through a second user window changes a field/character within the second user window. In an embodiment, the updated notification is achieved without window refreshing and without a committed update for the field/character change being committed by the second user to a back end system associated with the distributed interface.

One method embodiment includes determining whether there are open orders with regard to a location included in first order input received via a network. When there is an open order with regard to the location, the method then transmits a request for second order input indicating whether to add the order input to the at least one open order or to open a new order. When the received second order input specifies that a new order is to be opened, the method opens a new order with regard to the location. When the received second order input specifies that the received first order input is to be added an open order, the method includes adding the first order input to an open order.

One method embodiment includes receiving an image of an image flow captured by a camera of a scanner and determining whether a currency item is present in the image. In such embodiments, when a currency item is determined to be present in the image, sending a data representation of a received currency denomination and value as a currency tender input to a process of a POS terminal.

Abstract: Service tracking using beacons may include receiving, at a computing device including a processor, a plurality of beacon identifiers from a plurality of beacons. Each of the plurality of beacon identifiers may be associated with a unique beacon that may be located at a fixed location on a property. The plurality of beacons may form a matrix of beacons. Once the beacon identifiers are received, the computing device may determine a location of the computing device within the matrix of beacons. The location may include a proximity to one of the plurality of beacons. Once the location of the computing device is determined transmit a service request that may be associated with a service selection may be transmitted to a remote computing device. The service request may include service data for performing the service and the location of the computing device within the matrix of beacon.
