  • Publication number: 20180169463
Abstract: A user weight resisted rowing exercise simulation machine with a movable user support pivotally connected to a forward portion of a stationary horizontal base frame and a slidable seat and rigid feet support mounted to the movable user support frame and a pulling handle operatively connected to the movable user support frame such that moving the pulling handle towards the rearward portion of the machine causes the rearward portion of the user support frame to pivot upward and moving the pulling handle away from the rearward portion of the machine causes the rearward portion of the movable user support to pivot downward and the force required to move the pulling handle towards the rearward portion of the machine is reduced and controlled by the operative connection of the pulling handle to the user support frame.

  • Patent number: 9675834
Abstract: A series of improved exercise machines with a movable user engagement member operatively linked to a sliding while rotating user support such that when the user engagement member is engaged and activated by the user the user engagement member concurrently causes movement of the operative linkage system, which concurrently causes the user support to slide while rotating. This creates dynamic motion of the user support relative to the user engagement member.

  • Patent number: 8454479
Abstract: An exercise treadmill having an endless exercise surface for walking or running while exercising, a resistance mechanism for providing a resistance for simulating the pushing of a load, wherein the resistance can be adjusted and set to a specific resistance setting. A movable pushing handle or handles is or are operatively attached to the resistance mechanism to transfer the load to the user. The resistance mechanism applies a constant and static force to the pushing handle(s) only in the same direction the endless movable surface moves and opposite a pushing direction such that operating the treadmill simulates the pushing of a load by a combination of gripping and pushing the pushing handle(s) forward while walking or running forward.
