A handle is carried by the cam member so that the handle is rotated therewith and estabilished in a retracted position concealed within the vehicle body when the cam member is rotated in one direction during closing movement of the hood and established in an extended occupant accessible position projecting out of the vehicle body when the cam member is rotated in the other direction during opening movement of the hood.
