  • Publication number: 20250104528
Abstract: An electronic gaming system includes a processor and a memory device storing instructions, which when executed by the processor, cause the processor to: cause a display device to visually indicate a number of available free spins stored in the memory device for a feature game; generate an output in response to a player input at a gaming device; determine a trigger condition for the feature game based on the number of available free spins; determine that the output satisfies the trigger condition; and in response to the output satisfying the trigger condition: build, from presentation records stored in the memory device, a facade for the output that includes a spin of a base game and the number of available free spins of the feature game; cause display of the facade on the display device; and reset the number of available free spins stored in the memory device.

Abstract: A volatile content analysis instrument is disclosed that includes a cavity and a microwave source positioned to produce and direct microwaves into the cavity at frequencies other than infrared frequencies. A balance is included with at least the balance pan (or platform) in the cavity. An infrared source is positioned to produce and direct infrared radiation into the cavity at frequencies other than the microwave frequencies produced by the microwave source. • Publication number: 20080245787
Abstract: A system for microwave assisted high-throughput chemical processes is disclosed. The system includes a source of microwave radiation, a microwave cavity in communication with the source, and a microtiter plate in the cavity. The microtiter plate is formed of a microwave transparent material and includes a plurality of sample wells. A fluid chamber is defined by the interior of the four walls, the base, the profiles of the wells, and by the top surface of the microtiter plate. A microwave-moderating fluid in the chamber helps produce a more uniform microwave field among the individual wells in the microtiter plate when microwaves are applied in the cavity from the source.

  • Publication number: 20060025567
Abstract: An instrument and process for accelerating the solid phase synthesis of peptides is disclosed. The method includes the steps of deprotecting a protected first amino acid linked to a solid phase resin by admixing the protected linked acid with a deprotecting solution in a microwave transparent vessel while irradiating the admixed acid and solution with microwaves, then activating a second amino acid by adding the second acid and an activating solution to the same vessel while irradiating the vessel with microwaves, then coupling the second amino acid to the first acid while irradiating the composition in the same vessel with microwaves, and cleaving the linked peptide from the solid phase resin by admixing the linked peptide with a cleaving composition in the same vessel while irradiating the composition with microwaves.
