  • Publication number: 20140148938
Abstract: Techniques for object profile for object machining are described. In at least some implementations, an object profile is generated by measuring attributes of an object, such as its dimensions. The object profile can correspond to a data representation of object attributes. The object profile is employed to determine a machining path for machining the object based on a particular design and/or pattern. In at least some implementations, an alignment guide is generated that enables an object to be positioned for machining by a machining device. The alignment guide, for instance, can correspond to a particular position in a coordinate space. Aligning an object with the alignment guide includes moving the object (e.g., rotationally and/or translationally) to align with the alignment guide. When aligned with the alignment guide, the object can be machined according to a specified object profile and/or pattern.

  • Publication number: 20090181787
Abstract: A golf putting training system for a golfer is disclosed generally comprising a linear measurement device that is placed on the ground such that a golf ball is placed at one end and a stopper for engaging a putting head is positioned along the measurement device at a desired distance from the ball. A golfer putts the golf ball, taking a backswing that moves the putter head to the surface of the stopper prior to accelerating towards the ball. The golfer then compares the distance between the end of the measurement device and the stopper to the distance between the end of the measurement device and the final destination of the golf ball. In this way, the golfer can calculate a backswing-to-putt ratio to quickly determine the required backswing distance for any desired putt distance for a given stroke acceleration rate.

  • Publication number: 20080264655
Abstract: A combination gardening tool that will perform as a cultivator, weeder, and hoe. The present invention has an elongated handle and a cultivator head at one end. The cultivator head is comprised of a row of cultivator tines and a cutting blade. The cultivator tines are of substantially equal lengths and extend substantially parallel to each other and have sharpened ends. The cutting blade is located substantially near the sharpened ends of the cultivator tines. The cultivator tines loosen and break up the soil and the cutting blade slices the ground to sever weeds and vegetation. The cutting blade also performs as a conventional hoe which is used to hack, chop and remove unwanted foliage and vegetation. In addition the width of the cutting blade is sufficient enough to effectively move soil, make garden rows, make furrows, and level the ground surface working area.
