  • Publication number: 20150219248
Abstract: A cable holder including a frame having a plurality of resiliently flexible trays arranged in a column. A top surface of one of the plurality of trays and the bottom surface of another of the plurality of trays immediately positioned above it forms a pocket that is sized and shaped to receive at least one cable. Each of the trays includes at least one low rail extending from the top surface thereof, and the remainder of the trays includes at least one high rail extending from the bottom surface thereof. A clip is secured to the frame for attachment to a bracket. The trays are depressed to open the pocket, enabling insertion of one or more cables therein or removal therefrom. The resiliency of the trays along with the low rails and high rails deform the cables to form slight bends therein to prevent side-to-side movement or slippage of the cables.

  • Publication number: 20060180196
Abstract: A junction box adapted to protect soldered electrical connections between outputs and cables wherein the connections are on a flat surface (e.g. the backing sheet of a solar module) and a method for installing the box over the connections. The junction box can have a split housing that can be spread to fit over the cables before filling the housing with a sealant which, in turn, covers and protects the connections. A separate cover is then latched onto the housing.

  • Publication number: 20060130285
Abstract: A band clamp is disclosed which can be movably applied to an elongated object, such as a hose, conduit or the like, when the band clamp is in an open or non-engaged position. In one embodiment, the elongated object is gripped between a pair of arms which project inwardly from opposite sides of an inner circumferential surface of the band when the band is in its open or non-engaged position. The inner circumferential surface of the band also includes a pair of recesses, one on each side thereof. When the band is in its closed or engaged position, each of the arms is received in a corresponding recess. The first and second arms are attached at a common junction with the band forming an arc that is no less than about 180°.

  • Publication number: 20060099841
Abstract: A panel-mounted electrical connector pair (12,36) has a recessed electrical connector (12) having a socket portion (18) with a first flange (26) proximate an open end (20) thereof, a first distal web (22) and a first type of electrical terminal (24a) protruding through said first distal web (22). The socket portion (18) is extendable through a first opening (64) in a first panel (62), with the first flange (26) abutting against the first panel (62). The connector pair (12, 36) includes a protruding connector (36) with a plug portion (38). The protruding connector (36) has a proximal end plate (42), a second distal web (44) spaced from the proximal end plate (42), a second flange (48) disposed on the protruding connector (36) proximate to the second distal web (44), and a second type of electrical terminal (46a) producing through the second distal web (44) toward the proximal end plate (42). The proximal end plate (42) has an opening (94a) therein aligned with the second type of electrical terminal (46a).
