    Abstract: The partition shield consists of a frame which can be mounted to the front seat frame in an automobile. The partition is a collapsible shield slidably mounted to the frame and normally stored in a fan-fold manner in a cross casing in the frame. The shield can be activated to be drawn upwards to form a shield above the front seat backrest to protect the driver from possible attack by some one located in the back seat of the automobile.
