  • Publication number: 20200065405
Abstract: A computing system may be configured to simplify a complex dataset of nodes representing an operational environment. To that end, the computing system (a) associates nodes with a respective set of asset data related to how assets operate when located in proximity to the given node, where the respective asset data includes a respective value of at least one given asset-data variable, (b) evaluates whether any nodes can be eliminated using a divergence function that determines a maximum divergence between (i) one set of values including an original value of the given asset-data variable for each candidate node and (ii) another set of values including an imputed value of the given variable for each candidate node, (c) removes nodes from the dataset identified for elimination, thereby generating a reduced dataset, and (d) uses the reduced dataset to evaluate the operation of assets in the environment defined by the reduced dataset.

  • Publication number: 20200062276
Abstract: A system and method of controlling auxiliary vehicle functions via one or more touchpads on the vehicle steering wheel is disclosed. In response to receiving a user input at one of the touchpads, the vehicle performs a corresponding action depending on the region of the touchpad in which the input was received and the context in which the vehicle is currently operating. During operation, the vehicle displays, on a display screen of the vehicle (e.g., the HUD), a contextual control image indicating which actions will be performed in response to various inputs entered at one or more of the touch pads on the steering wheel. In this way, the steering wheel can accept an input for a variety of auxiliary functions.

  • Patent number: 10531424
Abstract: Methods and systems for determining the location of a Bluetooth device using a standard broadcast packet containing known data. Multiple antennas are used to take measurements of the packet are converted into in-phase and quadrature components, then a low-pass filter is applied. The known data presents an in-phase and quadrature spectrum that is a continuous wave-tone representation of the packet signal in the passband of the low-pass filter. Multiple measurements are used to determine the phase difference of the filtered measurements at the different antenna locations. Phase difference is used to determine the location of the device.

  • Publication number: 20190385722
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for managing prescription benefits in prescription claim or inquiry requests performed by one or more computers in a prescription order processing system includes receiving a prescription claim request related to a consumer from a requesting entity. A crosswalk file is retrieved that comprises information from a plurality of health plan member files describing benefits available to the consumer provided by a plurality of benefit providers. The crosswalk file is used to automatically determine an order submission sequence indicating an order in which claim or inquiry requests corresponding to the benefits are submitted to the benefit providers. The claim or inquiry requests are submitted to the benefit providers according to the order submission sequence. Responses from the benefit providers are automatically aggregated in order to generate an aggregated response to the prescription claim request. The aggregated response is transmitted to the requesting entity.

  • Patent number: 10511186
Abstract: In an automatic transfer power supply with relay protection, multiple electric power sources may be selectively coupled with a switched-mode power supply circuit using multiple corresponding sets of relays. The switched-mode power supply circuit may include one or more switches that operate under the control of a switch controller element to implement the functionality of the switched-mode power supply. To protect the relays during source transfer, a source transfer controller may signal the switch controller element to halt current flow through the switched-mode power supply circuit, and then signal the relays to change state while the current flow is halted, thereby protecting the relays during source transfer. Sparking may be reduced in relays that physically move metal armatures to make and break electrical connections, prolonging relay life and/or reducing relay failures and improving power supply availability.

  • Patent number: 10491036
Abstract: A solid-state automatic transfer switch includes a primary rectifier circuit and a secondary rectifier circuit, wherein at least one of the rectifier circuits includes one or more controllable semi-conductor switches. The primary rectifier circuit is electrically coupled to a primary input and an output of the solid-state automatic transfer switch. Also, the secondary rectifier circuit is electrically coupled to a secondary input of the solid-state automatic transfer switch and the output. A controller controls a control state of the controllable semi-conductor switches to allow or prevent electrical power from flowing through the primary or secondary rectifier circuits, thus selectively controlling whether power is fed from the primary input or the secondary input of the solid-state automatic transfer switch to the output of the solid-state automatic transfer switch.

  • Publication number: 20190325005
Abstract: A method includes storing a sparse triangular matrix as a compressed sparse row (CSR) dataset. For each factor of a plurality of factors in a first vector, a value of the factor is calculated by identifying for the factor a set of one or more antecedent factors in the first vector, where the value of the factor is dependent on each of the one or more antecedent factors. In response to a completion array indicating that all of the one or more antecedent factor values are solved, the value of the factor is calculated based on one or more elements in a row of the matrix and a product value corresponding to the row. In the completion array, a first completion flag for the factor is asserted, indicating that the factor is solved.

  • Publication number: 20190317807
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods for enforcing processor quality of service guarantees when servicing system service requests (SSRs) are disclosed. A system includes a first processor executing an operating system and a second processor executing an application which generates SSRs for the first processor to service. The first processor monitors the number of cycles spent servicing SSRs over a previous time interval, and if this number of cycles is above a threshold, the first processor starts delaying the servicing of subsequent SSRs. In one implementation, if the previous delay was non-zero, the first processor increases the delay used in the servicing of subsequent SSRs. If the number of cycles is less than or equal to the threshold, then the first processor services SSRs without delay. As the delay is increased, the second processor begins to stall and its SSR generation rate falls, reducing the load on the first processor.
