Patent number: 12502786Abstract: In an automated system and method uses a multi-axis robot arm and computer vision system to perform critical demil processes using a plurality of networked workcells monitored and managed by a central processor. An inspection and paint removal cell strips paint or other coatings from the outer surface of the ordnance for disposal of the paint or other coatings. A defusing cell is operative to remove a fuse from the ordinance for disposal of the fuse, and a cutting and definning cell operative to remove fins from the body of the ordnance, and cut into the body of the ordnance to determine if submunitions are present in the ordnance. A multi-axis robot arm and computer vision system removes submunitions from the ordnance, if present, inspecting the submunitions, and transferring the submunitions to the cutting and definning cell for subsequent processing.Type: GrantFiled: January 10, 2019Date of Patent: December 23, 2025Assignee: Cybernet Systems Corp.Inventors: Charles J. Patent number: 12123690Abstract: A fully automated, integrated, end-to-end synchronized and compact manufacturing system produces polymer or metal case ammunition. Manufacturing stations support case assembly, sealing (gluing/welding), final product inspection, cartridge packaging or binning, and loading. Station modularity facilitates rapid changeover to accommodate ammunition of differing calibers. Sensors and apparatus may be provided to place a manufacturing cell in a wait state until all components or materials are received in a preferred orientation for proper assembly. The system may join and use multipart cases, each including a lower portion with a head end attached thereto and at least one upper portion having a necked-down transition to the open top end. Elevator feeders, vibratory bowl feeders, and robotic pick-and-place feeders may be used to deliver components for assembly.Type: GrantFiled: June 27, 2023Date of Patent: October 22, 2024Assignee: Cybernet Systems CorporationInventors: Glenn J. Patent number: 8328249Abstract: A latch assembly is provided, the latch assembly having a fork bolt movably secured thereto for movement between a latched position and an unlatched position. A detent lever is also provided. The detent lever is capable of movement between an engaged position and a disengaged position, wherein the detent lever retains the fork bolt in the latched position when the detent lever is in the engaged position. The detent lever has a stop member and a guide member each protruding away from a surface of the detent lever and the stop member is in a spaced relationship with respect to the guide member. The latch assembly also includes an actuator for moving the detent lever from the engaged position to the disengaged position by contacting the guide member while the stop member is positioned so that the actuator will contact the stop member and prevent further movement of the actuator when the fork bolt is in the unlatched position and the detent lever is in the disengaged position.Type: GrantFiled: May 22, 2009Date of Patent: December 11, 2012Assignee: Inteva Products, LLCInventors: Manuel Corrales, Eduardo Estrada, Joseph Long, David W. Patent number: 6723046Abstract: A system and methodology for the acquisition of medical data from multiple, at-home patient measurement devices transfers the data via telephone communications to a remotely accessed data management and display system such as a Web-based data management system. The measurement device, which supports two-way communications between the patient and the database system, is extensible to support multiple plug-in medical devices and devices for patient input or identification. Collection of data is mediated through an interface device that is connected via a digital link (serial, network, or digital RF link) to single or multiple patient measurement devices. This interface device is connected to a network via wide area network means including standard phone lines. In the preferred embodiment, data transfer is mediated through pervasive DTMF phone networks. Although DTMF is the preferred format, alternative analog or digital audio tone formats may be used.Type: GrantFiled: January 29, 2002Date of Patent: April 20, 2004Assignee: Cybernet Systems CorporationInventors: Eric Lichtenstein, Vincent Cruz, Joseph Long, Gary Siebert, Charles J.
