  • Publication number: 20110103807
Abstract: The invention is a replacement smart card that allows a printer to utilize a replacement printer cartridge. The replacement smart card has an integrated circuit and a microcontroller, wherein the microcontroller is programmed to intercept the request from the printer for the unique lot number data and to provide the appropriate unique lot number data to the printer in response to the request. The integrated circuit is programmed just like the original equipment manufacturer integrated circuit, and, with the exception of providing the unique lot number data to the printer, communicates with the printer just as the original equipment manufacturer integrated circuit would.

  • Publication number: 20110085310
Abstract: The present invention is a circuit board with precision clearance holes that accommodate components that are attached to the circuit board. The components are mounted in an inverted position so that the component contacts are still connected to the top side of the circuit board and the body of the component fits substantially within the precision clearance hole.

  • Publication number: 20110032561
Abstract: The invention is a replacement universal printer chip that utilizes a single data table. The replacement printer chip includes a microcontroller that emulates the chip functions of an entire model line of printers made by the same manufacturer. The universal chip identifies and blocks the overwrite locations in a single data table of multiple models of printers made by the same manufacturer. The single data table chip functions correctly on all machine or printer models of a particular manufacturer.

  • Patent number: 4193613
Abstract: A passive seat belt system including a cable attached to the seat belt for moving the seat belt to a non-interfering position and a winding device for moving the cable. The winding device is drivingly connected to an electric motor for movement of a device unassociated with the passive seat belt when the door is open. A single motor operates the passive seat belt system of both the driver's and right front passenger positions through a gearbox arrangement which is also connected to the windshield wiper or other motor.

  • Patent number: 4190266
Abstract: In a vehicle passive seat belt restraint system including a seat belt having one end attached at a point of attachment to a door of the vehicle and its opposite end attached in the interior of the vehicle such that when the door is closed, the belt is automatically moved to a first position at which it restrains an occupant when seated in his seat and when the door is opened, the belt is moved to a second position located forward of the vehicle with respect to the first position, to permit free ingress to and egress from the vehicle, the door having a pivot point upon which the door pivots during opening and closing, the improvement for moving the belt to its second position upon only partial opening of the door, the improvement comprising:rod member having one end pivotally connected to the frame of the vehicle at a point located adjacent to and above the height of the door and having an opposite end communicating with the seat belt, the distance between the one end and the opposite end of the rod member bei

  • Patent number: 4190212
Abstract: A safety belt retractor comprising a frame, a spool mounted for rotation on the frame and having seat belt webbing wound thereon, first means biasing the spool in a rewind direction and means for reducing the tension of the webbing against the wearer due to the bias force of the first biasing means, the tension reducing means comprising a second means biasing the spool in a rewind direction and having a lower biasing force than the first biasing means and blocking means having an operable position at which it prevents the first biasing means from rotating the spool and an inoperable position at which it does not prevent such rotation, the blocking means being in the operable position after extension of the seat belt webbing to a position of use, and the second biasing means operable to wind the webbing when the blocking means is in its operable position.
