Abstract: A modularly constructed storage structure with mezzanine access. The storage structure is provided in the form of a row of storage cabinets stacked on top of each other thereby providing base cabinets and upper storage cabinets. The storage cabinets have internal supporting structural framework which include vertical front and back beams and horizontal side beams with the frameworks of the stacked cabinets interconnected, and the vertical back beams of the base cabinets are also secured to an underlying supporting floor. The mezzanine structure, which is attached to the cabinet structure, includes a plurality of spaced horizontally aligned cantilever beams of predetermined length which penetrate the storage structure and are respectively connected directly or indirectly to front and back vertical beams of the cabinet structure. Overhang ends of these cantilever beams extend beyond the front face of the cabinet structure for cantilevered support thereon of a mezzanine deck.

Abstract: A low profile damage resistant lighting fixture which has a substantially rigid extruded housing base with an elongated back plate and a spaced pair of longitudinally extending legs that depend from an inside surface of the back plate and thereby provide a ballast channel between the legs and a pair of lamp channels on opposite sides of the ballast channel to receive elongated florescent lamps. An elongated cover is removably secured with snap connections to the legs for covering the ballast channel. Cast or molded end caps enclose opposite ends of the fixture.

Abstract: A crane-like apparatus for enabling easy assembly and easy lifting from a horizontal to a vertical position of a structure. The apparatus comprises two (or more) clamping arms attached to the pivotally mounted mast of the apparatus with clamping means mounted on clamping arms at selective positions along the lengths thereof, such as by providing a plurality of spaced holes through which mounting bolts may be selectively fastened. The clamping means comprises a hydraulic cylinder on one end of the clamping arms and either another hydraulic cylinder, or a dummy cylinder or stop, on the other end so that the structure to be assembled may be clamped therebetween by application of hydraulic fluid to the cylinder, thus not marring the surface of the structure.

Abstract: Side covers which do not utilize any exposed fasteners are provided around the edges of the movable conveyor belt and the associated tray. A high molecular weight polyethylene transition piece is provided between the tray and the movable conveyor for facilitating movement of items from the flat moving carrying surface into the accumulation tray. The covers include an inward extending portion which overlap the ends of the movable conveyor belt. Elongated wood guides are provided for the edges of the conveyor belt along the length of the top flat horizontal moving surface to eliminate tracking problems and belt damage. No portion of the conveyor belt or the associated drive is lower than the side covers. The frame is supported from the floor by rigid tubular steel legs which provide a strong stable structure and allow access to the bottom of the conveyor and the floor. Wooden blocks are provided at the bottom of the tubular legs for support from the floor.
