  • Publication number: 20240115141
Abstract: A method and apparatus of automatically locating in an image of a blood vessel the lumen boundary at a position in the vessel and from that measuring the diameter of the vessel. From the diameter of the vessel and estimated blood flow rate, a number of clinically significant physiological parameters are then determined and various user displays of interest generated. One use of these images and parameters is to aid the clinician in the placement of a stent. The system, in one embodiment, uses these measurements to allow the clinician to simulate the placement of a stent and to determine the effect of the placement. In addition, from these patient parameters various patient treatments are then performed.

  • Patent number: 7801571
Abstract: The invention concerns a mobile communications unit (100) having at least one transducer (120) that can broadcast audio through a direct port (110), at least one leak port (114) for leak tolerance of the unit, in which the leak port can have a first opening (116) and a multi-use opening (118). The multi-use opening can be coupled to the first opening of the leak port to complete a path for the leak port, and the multi-use opening can also receive a part of an accessory. As an example, the mobile unit can be a monolith mobile unit. As another example, the accessory can be a holster having a hook mechanism that fits within the multi-use opening and can secure the mobile communications unit to the holster.

  • Patent number: 7280666
Abstract: An acoustic porting arrangement is provided that uses sound pressure signal ports (202, 112) to enhance speaker (406) and microphone cartridge (402) performance when mounting the speaker (406) on a moveable component, such as a flip part (102) of a flip-type cellular phone (100). A speaker acoustic path (504) is incorporated into the moveable component (102) to enhance the acoustic performance of an acoustic transducer (406). A microphone acoustic pathway (502) is also created through the moveable component (102) that delivers sound pressure energy to a microphone (402) that is mounted on a base (104) when the moveable component (102) is in its closed position and covering the microphone (108). Some embodiments reuse a surface acoustic port (202) for both paths.
