At the server, at least one email address associated with the email message which is designated not to receive a content of the email message is identified. At the server, the email message is modified by selectively removing a content of the email message to be conveyed to the at least one email address. The server conveys the modified email message to the at least one email address. The server conveys the email message to one or more recipient email addresses except the at least one email address. Consequently, the server has sent a submitted message to multiple email addresses, while modifying the content sent to a subset of the addresses that received the email message.

Abstract: Personalizing travel route planning based on past actual user travel behavior and reasons that the user deviated from planned routings. The route planning algorithm is revised based on analysis of user input related to a deviation from a planned routing. If a new trip in the planning stage entails considerations similar to those that caused the user's deviation on a previous trip, then the revised route planning algorithm can take these considerations into account when planning the route for the new trip. Changes in route planning may apply when the user: (i) plans to make a trip similar to a previous trip when the deviation occurred; (ii) plans to make a different trip, but the trip entails considerations that lead to the deviation on the prior trip; (iii) is using the same vehicle as for the previous trip with the deviation; and/or (iv) is using a different vehicle.

The sending email address can be associated with a sender node and the one or more email addresses is associated with a prohibited node. In particular, on a message originator, one embodiment includes, composing a message as an instant message, and transmitting the message using an e-mail protocol. On a message recipient, one embodiment includes, receiving a message in an e-mail protocol, determining whether the message is to be displayed as an instant message, and in the case that the message is to be displayed as an instant message, displaying the message as an instant message at the recipient, otherwise displaying the message as an e-mail at the recipient. Functionality of the originator and recipient sides can be combined into a single client.

In an embodiment of the invention, the system can include a syndicated content aggregator configured for coupling to multiple syndicated content subscribers and syndicated content feed sources. The system also can include a translation server coupled to the aggregator. The translation server can include logic to translate syndicated content feeds, such as RSS or Atom feeds, which are received from the feed sources into target lingual languages specified by the aggregator. In this regard, the translation server can include a machine translator configured to translate content from a first lingual language to a second lingual language.
