    Abstract: There is provided a method for enhancing wool growth and favorably altering the ratio of secondary to primary wool follicles in fur-bearing animals, such as llamas, sheep, goats, rabbits and chinchillas, by administering at from birth to 15 weeks of age to each of said animals orally or as a subcutaneous implant a 4,5,6,7-tetrahydro-benzo[b]thien-4-ylurea compound in an amount effective to achieve marked wool growth enhancement.
