  • Patent number: 7028842
Abstract: A case indicative of specific greens of a specific golf course for displaying golf balls on tees. The case includes a display case and golf course-related elements sitting in the display case. The golf course-related elements include at least one insert. Each insert has a through bore replicating the hole in a specific green of a specific golf course for holding a split tee teeing a golf ball, a top surface having indicia thereon pictorially replicating a specific green of a specific golf course, and a bottom surface having a portion of hook and loop fasteners thereon. The portion of hook and loop fasteners on each insert selectively mates with a sheet of a mating portion of hook and loop fasteners in the display case so as to allow each insert to be interchanged to replicate a specific green of a specific golf course.

  • Patent number: 4844095
Abstract: A reusable automatic lancet device having a removable finger rest with an opening for passing the lancet needle to prick a patient's finger below the finger rest. A pivoted arm which holds the lancet needle is locked in a cocked position before the finger rest is inserted and it is released in response to upward pressure of the patient's finger against the finger rest after its insertion.

  • Patent number: 4715374
Abstract: A disposable automatic lancet which can be used only once. A lancet blade is on a spring arm in a housing, and the spring arm is cocked just before the lancing procedure by pulling a flexible line extending through an opening in the housing. After cocking, the pull line may be broken off so that it cannot be pulled again, thus limiting the lancet to use only once.

  • Patent number: 4658821
Abstract: The present invention consists of an improvement on the pivoting arm of an automatic lancet. Generally an automatic lancet is comprised of a housing having a spring loaded pivoting arm. The arm has a cylindrical holder at the operating end which holds a needle encased in a plastic carrier. Upon releasing the spring, the needle pierces the patient's finger producing a blood sample. To replace the needle generally requires pulling the old needle out with one's fingers and pushing a new one in. The present invention improves the cylindrial holder by adding a plunger inside it. This enables the user to push the old needle out without the necessity of grabbing or touching the old needle. Thus, safety for the medical technician is greatly enhanced.

  • Patent number: 4288007
Abstract: Plural liquid containing bottles of differing sizes are simultaneously held in a cabinet in an inverted position so that the liquid flows by gravity from an orifice at the top of each bottle. A tension spring controls the vertical position of a first, fixed bearing surface for the top of each bottle relative to a second bearing surface for the bottom of the bottle to facilitate insertion of different sized bottles between the surfaces. A valve is selectively opened to enable liquid to be dispensed by gravity from the bottle through a dispensing tube extending through a stopper in the orifice. A vent tube attached to the stopper has an open end exposed to the atmosphere above a liquid-air interface in the bottle to assure the flow of liquid to the valve. The second surface carries the stopper and is on a plate that is detachable from the remainder of the holding structure and is horizontally slidable toward and away from a door through which bottles are inserted into the cabinet.
