  • Publication number: 20230024336
Abstract: An all-purpose drainage catheter which includes an all-purpose drainage catheter lumen, an extension tubing, a collection bag, a catheter hub, a Luer valve. The extension tubing inserted into the all-purpose drainage catheter lumen. The collection bag is fluidly coupled to the extension tubing. The Luer valve facilitates nephrostomy care so that when the all-purpose drainage catheter is in place urine flows from the renal pelvis into the all-purpose drainage catheter lumen, the extension tubing and the collection bag. The Luer valve employs a scalloped Luer-style male connector which, when screwed into the catheter hub, further allows urine to flow from the renal pelvis into the all-purpose drainage catheter lumen, the extension tubing and the collection bag. The all-purpose drainage catheter includes an outer catheter hub, an inner catheter hub coupled to the Luer valve at one end thereof and insertedly coupled to the outer catheter hub.

  • Patent number: 11432680
Abstract: An egg cooker includes a base band shaped to be placed on a cooking surface. A cover is connected to the base band. A tunnel within the cover is sized to allow contents of an opened egg to be poured through the tunnel and onto the cooking surface. A length of the tunnel is selected so that when the cover is mounted on the cooking surface, a base at a bottom of the tunnel is elevated over the cooking surface to a height that allows a white of the opened egg to pass under the base of the tunnel to the cooking surface under the cover, while retaining a top of a yolk of the opened egg within an inside circumference of the tunnel.

  • Publication number: 20170153197
Abstract: A contamination meter (1) for measuring salt concentration on a surface by measuring the electrical resistance of a test medium which has been applied to the surface is disclosed. The meter (1) has at least two electrodes (9) arranged to be brought into contact with the test medium. A measuring device is arranged to measure the electrical resistance of the test medium between one or more pairs of electrodes (9), thereby to measure the electrical resistance of the test medium between the or each pair of electrodes (9) when the electrodes (9) are brought into contact with the test medium. The electrodes (9) are arranged such that, in use, the resistance of the test medium is measurable between pairs of electrodes (9) at different positions on the medium without any relative movement between the medium and the contamination meter (1). The electrodes (9) may be arranged in a grid, and an electrical resistance measurement may be made between any pair of electrodes (9).

  • Patent number: 8007917
Abstract: A non-halogenated rubber compound is provided for use in conveyor belts, particularly those used in underground mining. The non-halogenated rubber compound is fire-resistant in accordance with MSHA standards and produces acceptable levels of toxicity and smoke upon burning. Such non-halogenated rubber compound includes a blend of rubbery polymers in combination with aluminum trihydrate, which is a fire retardant, and optionally a phosphate plasticizer, which can provide the rubber compound with a more desirable workability. The blend of rubbery polymers is composed of natural rubber and butadiene rubber, and optionally styrene-butadiene rubber, such blend being present in a total amount of 100 phr. In one embodiment, the aluminum trihydrate is present in an amount of about 30 phr to about 150 phr. • Patent number: 7901016
Abstract: The present invention is directed generally to track segments for track vehicles and, more specifically, to a track segment having an ethylene propylene diene monomer (EP(D)M) rubber based backer, and a method of making. In one embodiment, the track segment includes an EP(D)M rubber based backer including a rubber compound having 100 phr EP(D)M rubber wherein the diene component is optionally present, a peroxide curing agent, and one or more acrylic and/or methacrylic coagents. The track segment further includes a track pad and a track body. The track pad and backer cooperate with the track body to define the track segment for use in a track for a track vehicle. The EP(D)M rubber based compound provides a desirable balance of low heat build-up under heavy dynamic cyclic compression conditions, and also has a desirable load carrying capability, high heat resistance, and good cut/tear strength in hot climates.
