  • Patent number: 7203417
Abstract: The portable scent delivery device employs a housing and scent generator which selectively releases scent. The housing is suitably a headset, hat, shoulder harness or personal electronic device like a mobile telephone. The scent travels to the user's nose by diffusion.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 7, 2003
Date of Patent: April 10, 2007
    Inventor: Joseph Manne
  • Patent number: 7036502
Abstract: The device for creating a curtain of air across the face is a headset with a fan mounted thereon. The outlet of the fan has flexible tubing or cowling which allows for control of both direction and cross section of a curtain of air that crosses the face. The curtain of air prevents airborne particles and chemicals from making contact with the face.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 7, 2003
Date of Patent: May 2, 2006
    Inventor: Joseph Manne
  • Publication number: 20060000852
Abstract: The portable dispenser has individual supply chambers that communicate with a master chamber. Each of the supply chambers has a plunger to move fluid compositions from the supply chamber to the master chamber. The master chamber has a mixer to allow it to form a homogeneous mix of the individual compositions. An applicator is used to output the homogeneous mix.

    Publication date: January 5, 2006
    Inventor: Joseph Manne
  • Publication number: 20050061316
Abstract: The device creates a shield around the nose and mouth of a user and a flow of air through the shield. The flow of air through the shield prevents airborne particles and chemicals from making contact with the face.
    Type: Application
    Filed: June 14, 2004
    Publication date: March 24, 2005

  • Publication number: 20050028819
Abstract: The scent delivery device employs a housing and scent generator which selectively releases scent. The housing is mounted on a counter and allows a user to selectively sample a variety of scent. The scent travels to the user's nose by diffusion.
    Type: Application
    Filed: June 23, 2004
    Publication date: February 10, 2005

  • Patent number: 6842218
Abstract: The scent delivery system employs a single conduit with a nasal interface at one end and a fan or canister of compressed air at the other end. In between the two ends a scent injection device is positioned. The injection device injects scent into an air flow created by the fan or canister and creates scented air which is carried to the nose by the flow of air.

  • Publication number: 20040181261
Abstract: Cavernous nerve stimulation is induced by means of a device which creates a time varying magnetic field which, in turn, creates an electric field in a direction parallel to the nerve and at the nerve so as to cause depolarization leading to an action potential and subsequent sensory stimulation and erection.
    Type: Application
    Filed: December 16, 2003
    Publication date: September 16, 2004

  • Patent number: 6712753
Abstract: Sensory stimulation and sensory anesthesia are induced by means of a device which creates a time varying magnetic field which, in turn, creates an electric field in a direction parallel to the nerve and at the nerve so as to cause either depolarization leading to an action potential and subsequent sensory stimulation or hyperpolarization and subsequent blockade of nerve impulses which causes sensory anesthesia.

  • Patent number: 6655551
Abstract: The portable dispenser has individual supply chambers that communicate with a mixing chamber. Each of the supply chambers has a doser to move fluid compositions from the supply chamber to the mixing chamber. The mixing chamber has a mixer to allow it to form a homogeneous mix of the individual compositions. An applicator is used to output the homogeneous mix.

  • Patent number: 5564127
Abstract: The puncture proof surgical glove employs a rolled, warp knitted material to prevent punctures. The rolled, warp knitted material is made from solid filaments having a diameter of 0.03 to 0.004 inches, a tensile strength greater than 690,000 kPa and a modulus of elasticity less than or equal to about 205,000 MPa. The rolled, warp knitted material is made from the filaments which are helical in shape and interlocking such that the helical filament has an inside diameter of 0.008 inches, an outside diameter of 0.018 inches, a pitch of 0.034 inches, and a thickness of 0.037 inches. The warp knitted material is rolled such that it is flattened to a thickness of 0.025 inches.
