    Abstract: A computer network communication method and system wherein software rendering software is interposed in the data communication path between a browser running on a user computer and the internet data sources (for example, internet-accessible server computers) that the user browser wants to receive information from. The software rendering application gets data from internet data sources, but this data may contain malware. To provide enhanced security, the software rendering application renders this data to form a new browser readable code set (for example, an xml page with CSS layers), and this new and safe browser readable code set is sent along to the browser on the user computer for appropriate presentation to the user. As part of the rendering process, dedicated and distinct virtual machines may be used to render certain portion of the data, such as executable code. These virtual machines may be watched, and quickly destroyed if it is detected that they have encountered some type of malware.

The user communications device (for example, a personal computer, a Blackberry type device) is structured, connected and/or programmed to receive web pages from the Internet over a data communication path. The tapping device is structured, located and/or connected to receive the communications and to send the network communication pages a rendering device. The tapping device and the rendering device are both separate from the user communications device. The rendering device converts the visual communications into corresponding bit maps. Preferably, the rendering device permanently stores the bit maps to a data storage device and/or displays the bit maps on a display device. In embodiments where the bit maps are permanently stored, the rendering device preferably compresses the bit maps.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for facilitating an isometric contraction exercise regimen for many subjects across a network are provided. One or more exercise constraints are developed for a subject as a function of the medical health information of the subject. The subject performs a plurality of isometric contraction exercises using exercise equipment always in the presence of a personal fitness trainer thereby producing an exercise result. The exercise equipment has a strain gauge in order to impose exercise constraints in the one or more exercise constraints. A mandatory recovery period for the subject is then imposed. During this mandatory recovery period, the subject does not perform isometric contraction exercises. These steps are repeated using a new set of one or more exercise constraints that were refined based upon the exercise result of a previous isometric contraction exercise work out session.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus for reducing interrupt density in a computer system. One or more interrupt events received at a first device are stored in a memory and an interrupt is issued from the first device to a second device attached to the first device upon an occurrence of a first predefined event, wherein the second device retrieves the stored interrupt events from the memory and processes the retrieved interrupt events in response to the issued interrupt. Thereafter, an interrupt is issued for every interrupt event from the first device to the second device after the occurrence of the first predefined event until an occurrence of a second predefined event. After the occurrence of the second predefined event, the interrupt events received at a first device are again stored in the memory without issuing an interrupt from the first device to the second device. Finally, an interrupt is issued from the first device to the second device upon another occurrence of the first predefined event.

    Abstract: An apparatus and method is disclosed for an improved implementation for calculating a checksum. The present invention includes a plurality of addition circuits forming at least a first and a final addition stage. The addition circuits receive a data bit stream and perform addition on data bit pairs emanating from the data bit stream to obtain a checksum value. Carry bits generated by the addition circuits are propagated as additional upper data bits until the final addition stage wherein the carry bits are added to lower bits to obtain a final checksum value. The data bit stream may be a sixty-four bit data stream such that the data bit pairs are four sixteen bit pairs. The final stage accepts a limited carry value input to guarantee that a final carry bit is not generated at the final addition stage. Thus, the checksum circuit propagates the carry bits from each addition down the pipeline wherein the carry bits can be added at the end rather than at each addition stage.
