  • Publication number: 20220283003
Abstract: A multiphase vortex flowmeter system determines the gas-to-liquid ratio (GLR) and flow rates from a well producing multiphase gas, oil and water by detecting the frequency and amplitude of vortices shed in a vortex flowmeter. In particular, the phase of the flow can be identified by detecting the change in the frequency of the vortices with respect to time, and the amplitude of the vortices. Based on the phase, the flow rates of liquid and gas can be calculated. As a feedback technique, these calculated values can be “tuned” by comparison with actual GLR and flow rates recorded for the well by a test separator.

  • Patent number: 11435401
Abstract: A fault rules engine generates a plurality of fault rules files, each of the fault rules files is associated with a respective cell type of a plurality of cell types in an integrated circuit (IC) design. Each fault rules file includes data quantifying a nominal delay for a given two-cycle test pattern and data quantifying a delta delay for the given two-cycle test pattern corresponding to a given candidate defect of a plurality of candidate defects of a given cell type of the plurality of cell types in the IC design. An IC test engine extracts an input to output propagation delay for each cell instance from a standard delay format (SDF) file for the IC design and generates cell-aware test patterns for each cell instance of each cell type in the IC design based on the plurality of fault rules files and the extracted input to output propagation delays.

  • Publication number: 20220259839
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to systems and methods useful for backflow prevention system that includes an actuated valve, a valve controller, one or more upstream sensors, and one or more downstream sensors. Upon detecting conditions conducive to backflow through the system using either or both the one or more upstream sensors, and the one or more downstream sensors, the valve controller causes the actuated valve to close. The system may be enhanced through the use of a qualifying check valve disposed between the actuated valve and the one or more downstream sensors to slow or impede backflow through the system. The system may be enhanced by inclusion of a run-out length between the actuated valve and the one or more downstream sensors to account for the latency in the actuator causing the valve to transition to the CLOSED position.

  • Patent number: 11418401
Abstract: A method includes obtaining performance characterization values from endpoints managed by a first fog node at a first hierarchical level in a hierarchy of fog nodes. The method includes changing a first operating characteristic of the wireless network based on the performance characterization values. The first operating characteristic affects the operation of one or more of the endpoints. The method includes transmitting a portion of the performance characterization values to a second fog node at a second hierarchical level in the hierarchy of fog nodes. The method includes changing a second operating characteristic of the wireless network based on an instruction from the second fog node. The second operating characteristic affects the operation of the first fog node and/or other fog nodes at the first hierarchical level.
