    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to identifying vehicles using wireless device identifiers. In accordance with aspects of the present disclosure, a system for identifying vehicles in a parking structure includes a camera configured to capture images of an area in the parking structure where the camera captures an image containing one or more vehicle(s), a detector configured to scan for wireless device identifiers in the area, and a processing system including an electronic storage. The processing system is configured to execute instructions to access the image containing the vehicle(s) in the area and access one or more wireless device identifier(s) scanned by the detector in the area, process the image containing the vehicle(s) to extract one or more license plate identifier(s) corresponding to the vehicle(s), and store in the electronic storage at least one record associating the license plate identifier(s) with the wireless device identifier(s).

    Abstract: A technique for enhancing the frequency tuning range for monolithic RF source generation using fully-integrated coupled Voltage-Controlled-Oscillator (VCO) arrays that contain an odd number of VCOs. Fully-monolithic SiGe VCO arrays using on-chip inductor and varactor with on-chip bias current sources have been carefully designed and simulated in IBM 7HP 0.18 ?m BiCMOS technology and taped out for fabrication. The SPICE simulated frequency and phase tuning of the 1-D VCO×5 array is dependent on the edge VCOs termination impedance, the tuning voltages, and the VCO coupling strength. The simulated data suggests that the enhanced tuning range and beam steering can be accomplished using coupled-VCO arrays without needing complex and bulky phase shifters. This design technique imposes no apparent phase noise penalty but can provide simulated RF frequency tuning range of ˜40% and also ˜+/?25° beam steering for active antennas applications.

Three separate and different microelectronic circuit configurations, each having a different type of readout, are described. The embodiments are designed to be incorporated as a subsystem in any type of powered system in which a fast image of the broader spectrum is valuable, when no information about the location of signals in the frequency space is predictable or forthcoming.

    Abstract: Tris-tetrafluorammonium hexafluoraluminate, (NF.sub.4).sub.3 AlF.sub.6, a new compound, is synthesized by forming a mixture of solid aluminum trichloride in a solution of a molar excess tetrafluorammonium bifluoride in anhydrous hydrogen fluoride, at a temperature of about -78.degree. C. or less. The mix is then rapidly heated to a temperature of about 40.degree. C. to the decomposition temperature of the product until all the solids dissolve. The solution containing the dissolved aluminum trichloride is evaporated under vacuum conditions to cause crystallization of (NF.sub.4).sub.3 AlF.sub.6.
