Patent number: 12069991Abstract: An irrigation system having a pipeline supported by one or more towers includes an improved truss connection system having a means for readily adjusting a crown height of the pipeline. A pair of cooperating members define a joint which selectively couples headed ends of adjacent truss rods together to form a truss rail of a truss system that supports the pipeline. A single fastener may fasten the cooperating members, a strut, and a cross-member together at the joint. A length of the truss rail may be decreased by holding the truss rods closer together. In an aspect, the headed ends of the adjacent truss rods are held closer together by inserting a shim in one of the joints. Decreasing the length of the truss rail increases the deflection of the pipeline and raises the crown height.Type: GrantFiled: October 17, 2023Date of Patent: August 27, 2024Assignee: REINKE MANUFACTURING CO., INC.Inventors: Russell Scott Reinke, Jon Patrick Henry, Bradley George Weatherl, Mark Randall Virus, Darin Joseph Neff

Patent number: 11519540Abstract: A greaseless pivot center swivel and bearing device includes an outer housing having a sidewall with top and bottom portions, a top plate coupled with the top portion that includes an opening therein, and a bottom plate coupled with the bottom portion that includes an opening therein. The sidewall cooperates with the top and bottom plates to define an interior volume. A single, unitary bushing member formed of a low-friction material is positioned within the interior volume and includes a surface cylindrically curved about an axis extending between the top and bottom plates of the housing. Patent number: 10724563Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide a non-welded, clevis-type coupling assembly that provides two sheer planes and, accordingly, increases the load bearing capacity thereof. The assembly includes a coupling plate having a first section, a second section, and a third section. The second section is intermediate the first section and the third section and the first and third sections are oriented at an angle of 90° with respect to one another. The coupling plate includes a contiguous opening extending there through having a first part and a second part. The first part has a first dimension and the second part has a second dimension that is larger than the first dimension.Type: GrantFiled: April 8, 2019Date of Patent: July 28, 2020Assignee: REINKE MANUFACTURING CO., INC.Inventors: Bradley George Weatherl, Mark Randall Virus, Russell Scott Reinke, Darin Joseph Neff

Publication number: 20150005662Abstract: A system and method for fine needle aspiration includes a plurality of components. A device includes a body unit, a trigger unit, and at least one gear. The body unit is configured to hold a syringe, and the trigger unit is configured to laterally move relative to the body unit in order to extend and retract a plunger within the syringe. The at least one gear is configured to engage the syringe so that lateral movement of the trigger unit causes rotation of the syringe. A needle includes a distal tip with a vertical edge extending from a distal end to a proximal end, and a curved edge running from the distal end to the proximal end. A syringe kit includes a stylet connected to the plunger. The stylet includes an outer diameter equal to an inner diameter of the needle.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 22, 2013Publication date: January 1, 2015Inventors: Robert Brik, Alexander Mark Lesman, Kevin Chen, Alex Joseph Neff Speltz, Jisoo Kim, Alexander Slocum, Sareh Parangi, William Clay Faquin

Patent number: 8558625Abstract: A technique for enhancing the frequency tuning range for monolithic RF source generation using fully-integrated coupled Voltage-Controlled-Oscillator (VCO) arrays that contain an odd number of VCOs. Fully-monolithic SiGe VCO arrays using on-chip inductor and varactor with on-chip bias current sources have been carefully designed and simulated in IBM 7HP 0.18 ?m BiCMOS technology and taped out for fabrication. The SPICE simulated frequency and phase tuning of the 1-D VCO×5 array is dependent on the edge VCOs termination impedance, the tuning voltages, and the VCO coupling strength. The simulated data suggests that the enhanced tuning range and beam steering can be accomplished using coupled-VCO arrays without needing complex and bulky phase shifters. This design technique imposes no apparent phase noise penalty but can provide simulated RF frequency tuning range of ˜40% and also ˜+/?25° beam steering for active antennas applications.Type: GrantFiled: November 10, 2010Date of Patent: October 15, 2013Assignee: The United States of America as represented by the Secretary of the NavyInventors: Yu-Chun Donald Lie, Brian Meadows, Joseph Neff, John Cothern, Jerry Lopez

Patent number: 8174325Abstract: The present invention provides an array of tunable, injection-locking oscillators which are scalable to higher frequencies and measure the entire relevant frequency space simultaneously. The scalable, highly-parallelized, adaptive receiver architecture uses arrays of tunable, injection-locking nonlinear oscillator rings for broad spectrum RF analysis. Three separate and different microelectronic circuit configurations, each having a different type of readout, are described. The embodiments are designed to be incorporated as a subsystem in any type of powered system in which a fast image of the broader spectrum is valuable, when no information about the location of signals in the frequency space is predictable or forthcoming.Type: GrantFiled: October 13, 2010Date of Patent: May 8, 2012Assignee: The United States of America as represented by the Secretary of the NavyInventors: Daniel Leung, Joseph Neff, Norman Liu, Visarath In
